I have an 8inch screen is there some way I can just buy that little box that goes in the glove department?
I purchased the upgrade for my 2015 Sierra 1500. I have not tried the install yet but I did notice that in the video and the picture, it shows the cd slot and my truck didnt come with a cd player. I have not yet looked into the box to see if it also has the cd slot. I would hope they sent me the correct one being that I entered my VIN before the purchase.

Would this upgrade work with the standard 4.2 radio? I don't have CD, Xm, or backup camera and would really like those features. I have a 2015 2500 Silverado

+Kyle York You'd have to purchase those interfaces in order to add those features.
I buy one yesterday and I cant find the module in my truck, you dond know where is it,its a Silverado NO electric Windows.
Is there any way to upgrade the POS windows 98 style OS for these screens? I just bought the 2015 with 8" and the display and icons are cartoony and cheap looking. I love the screen and options, but the lay out and OS design is circa 2004..

Can I just get a used radio and used hmi module from a wrecked truck and install it?
