🔹 Exterior: 6️⃣
For me, it looks way better than Toyota Aygo, but I prefer a more aggressive design.
🔹 Interior: 3️⃣
German quality, but feels cheap
🔹 Driving PLEASURE: 5️⃣
To drive around a city it is perfect: comfy clutch and steering wheel, big windows gives good visibility around you. But. Do not leave the city, because to drive faster 80km/h would be a pain in the a** - zero sound insulation.

The base model of the VW up!, the "take up!" is called VW internally the "naked frog". It's not entirely unjustified. I want to buy a VW up! next year and I don't care about the features at all, I grew up with a Mk1 VW Golf for 17 years and it also had wind down windows.

I was stunned when I got inside one recently. It was like gong back to the 80's. It didn't even have a seat height adjustment. Hard to love tbh.

@@cgavin1 Yes, it's as spartan as the the VW Golf 1 I grew up with. I can overlook the lack of seat adjustment because I sit pretty well in the car with my 176 cm. But it takes a certain attitude to own and drive such a bare bones car.

@@cgavin1 But I'm amazed at how easily he got the reverse gear in, without ratcheting.... Normally, in the cold, you have to move of in first gear before you have a chance to put it in reverse.
