@@CaptainBuzzBee It went perfectly. I installed a Sony XAV-AX6000 using the trim pieces mentioned in the video. I used the Maestro ADS-MRR Universal Radio Replacement and Steering Wheel Interface and plug n play harnesses to make my life a little easier. It took a bit of time, but this video definitely helps understand how everything comes apart which helped ensure I didn't break or scratch anything. Definitely a satisfying job to do myself.

I have an Avalon and I hate the way aftermarket stereos looks like. I want to upgrade mine but don’t like the look.

Thank you so much for this. Question? Does the replacement stereo retain the surround sound option for the stereo. Probably wrong but I think it has 9 speakers. Factory...again probably wrong.

Will this work with the 2013 Avalon Hybrid Limited? This has the JBL system in it.

For JBL you will need an interface. I have a Sienna with JBL and needed an interface to hook a Kenwood to the JBL amp.

Will this work for the Jbl speakers and factory radio?

this is what i was wondering, I have the limited with JBL and the dash kits say that they don’t fit my car but it all looks the same. I’m curious too

@@xoitify1578yes i did and it worked perfectly fine, just make sure you get the right mounts for whatever radio you get because mine is using plastic mounts cuz the old metal ones didnt fit. so its a lil sensitive and will push in if you push too hard. Sadly wrecked my car last month 🥲 getting ready to repair it

Usually for Toyota JNBL you need an interface. I did this for a Toyota Sienna XLE with JBL Synthesis.

@@trilogyaaron5864 Sorry to hear you wrecked your car. Did you install your radio as shown in the video? Or did you have to bypass the factory AMP under the seat? Also, which radio did you use? Thanks for your help.
