2013 Nissan juke 1 6l timing chain noise repair

It is 2013 Nissan Juke 1.6l engine with timing chain noise. Replaced whole timing kit.

    That's crazy you can do that with the engine in, most cars you have to do a hell of a ton to get to that part of it lol

    I had the same issue for my 2013 Juke with timing chain noise. The local Nissan dealer said I needed to spend 9000 NZD (about 4800 Usd) for a new part to fix.....

    You should work on your car yourself , you may spend only couple hundred dollars for only parts. It is not so difficult to work on it

    $4800? You could get another juke engine and transmission for that price. The juke right now is a very good car for tuning. It is old so you can find many used parts to build a little fun monster car to drive around.

    can u anyone answer this after doing exactly what i u did if i rotate engine one full turn or 2 turn will these mark Matich? cause i did this and than roate engine and was trying to see if mark on the cam saft match with mark on chain after full one or 2 chain roation and the mark did not match on chain and grove on cam saft

    Don’t worry about it , you did the right process , after you rotate the engine second time it won’t be the same , make sure timing chain is not stretched and tight enough.

    ah bro thank u so much i opened and did it again same thing and it did not align again so i thought i was doing something wrong thanks for promt reply bro how do i know it all is ok what is the procedure is there any test? cause chain color mark and camsaft dont align and u said dont worry so what how do i know it ok?@@fayzullo4317

    Just do the timing chain right and rotate the engine twice make sure it won’t stop while you rotating you can feel also compression inside all s cylinders

    Yes the noise was from timing chain. Timing guide was broken and chain was stretched out.

    If you take off all timing guides and tensioner, it will come off itself.

    @@yaad2226 you don’t need much force to remove the cover , it should be easy. There should be some hidden bolts, carefully check bolts one more time.

    @@johnbobb1835 yes the timing kit assembly cover has a lot of screws all over the place. It is really a pain....

    I have to take my car for that too. My juke is bad. They found metal in the oil and is leaking a lot of oil.

    @@fayzullo4317 Correct if you have honed the skills in the correct way. If car is taken to mechanics, they charge $$$$$$ for six hours labour rates.

    @@alintomaogrezeanu881 only thing you spend money for timing kit it is probably around $140. It doesn’t require any special tool or nothing.
