Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
( www.TFLcar.com ) The newly updated 2013 Mercedes-Benz GLK350 is the baby Benz in the Mercedes-Benz line up of Crossover vehicles. Like the bigger vehicles that Mercedes sells the GLK350 has 4MATIC all-wheel-drive and a host of safety features to make one of the most technologically advanced cars that Mercedes sells. But what's is it like to live with the new Mercedes-Benz GLK350 ? We spend a week driving and getting to know most vehicles that we review and sometimes we discover some unexpected surprises. Here's a brief review that demonstrates the top three unexpected surprises of the new 2013 Mercedes-Benz GLK.

roman, i havent had power for 2 weeks and i missed these videos!!!!! you really have the best channel on youtube! thank u so much
Good morning back. We'd love to but we have very limited access to cars here in Denver. I'm note sure we have a Q5 in the press fleet. That's always the issue for us. Thanks for the great suggestion.
THANK YOU ROMAN AND NATHAN, i could not LIVE without this, Top Gear hasnt made an episode in forever and they dont plan to air until february, richard, jeremy, and captain slow would be proud
well for those of us in the modern era its quite nice to be able to just press a button on the door handle or slide your hand between the door and the handle and open the door without having to reach into your pocket. same for sitting down and foot on brake and pressing a button to start. you dont know how good it is until youve done it
thanks but that was the cayenne s which is different from the GTS in the power suspension, its totally different trim thanks again for your videos i enjoy it
Good morning Roman. Would you consider comparing the 2013 Audi Q5 Prestige S-Line to one of these crossovers. I feel that the Q5 refresh is the best looking crossover out there. In addition, for 2013 you can select the 3.0 TFSI engine! Thanks for making great videos again
I love new glk
Thanks for the quick reply again If you do get your hands on a Q5 please ask for the Prestige S-Line, truly an amazing vehicle. Have a happy holidays Roman
Thank you for the very kind comments. We are indeed humbled by the comparison to Top Gear. Please stayed tuned. We'll have the new Viper for you this week.
Buenas noches yo tengo uno en Cuba y estoy muy contento
The gear lever mounted on the steering column was first seen in the S550 back in 2007. Then it moved into the ML, GL, and R class. Then comes GLK and maybe E class.

E class has had it
If you get the convenience package you get the keyless option if that is something you would actually want. When you mention the shift lever you should mention the paddle shifters on the wheel. you make it sound like there are no manual shifting options.
It's a good car. We think your wife would be happy with it but two other good choices would be the Volvo XC60 or the most popular car in the segment the Lexus RX 350.
best thing about any surprise, is that it's always unexpected
this car is awesome the key turning on mercedes isn't like ordinary starting, you don't have to hold the key until the engine starts, you just gotta turn it and let go.

Same as my truck. Silverado are like that too
I like the drive assist even if it's mostly annoying, hate ECO, defeat it every time I start it, don't want to replace starter soon.
When the battery falls below a certain level because stop start has been used too much or if the AC or accessories are on fulll the car won't shut off the alternator and hence the engine
best thing about german cars is that you can buy it for 50-60% Less after 2 years

Roman mica You mentioned almost 10 surprises😂😂
Well, fortunately for you, Lane Keeping Assist is an extra option which can, of course, be left off of the vehicle, and save you a decent chunk of change.
I have a 2012, I love it. Hard to get something nicer that's maintainable at the price.

Any issues I need to look out for? I found a few of these with 80k mileage on them. I own a Mini Cooper so I’m loving German engineering. Contemplating a BMW X3 or X5 versus one of these. Any difference between 250 and 350? Thanks for any feedback you fellas have.

@@jweller175 10-13 models are more rugged looking for sure… more authentic. The 14-15s are nice but they are kind of undecided whether they want to be a gelandewagen or have city curves :)))
KeylessGO - it's a $640 option. And then you get all that good stuff.
My parents are wanting a fuel efficient car without sacrifice the dynamics of an SUV (there old). Do you think that the GLK250 Bluetec is a better car than the Audi Q5 hybrid? They don't car about the different type of fuel.
I've always had a little CRUSH on this vehicle. Too bad I could never afford one...

I have a 2014 GLK. I love it except for the ECO stop. I turn it off.
If you want a more efficient version of the Mercedes GLK, there is a Blue Efficient clean diesel Inline-4 engine.
You guys haven't reviewed the Infiniti QX56 yet right? so maybe do a mash up with the QX56, Q7, LX570, and Escalade? If y'all can do that, that'd be awesome! Or heck, just review a QX! xD
I think the engine will shut down if you press the breaks a litle, just a litle more firmly. It´s a feature now standard on all mercedes with the start stop. If you dislike the shutting down or you are just stoping for one or two seconds the press gently on the brakes and the car won´t shut off.
What about the x3?
The reason your ECO did not work, and the engine did not shut off is because right before you demonstrated that, you took your seat belt off. It will not work if the seat belt is not worn, the engine has not reached running temperature, car's interior has not reached to the set temperature (if ac/heat is running) and if both batteries are not fully charged.
It's really a convenience function but it depends on people. I usually stop by a gas station to buy cig and it takes like 30 secs. I never want to shut the engine but I have to without this function. And I'm tired of grabbing my key out from the pocket whenever I need to use the car.
The column shift is basically equipped to the american oriented/made mercedes vehicles
I want to see this car and the ML350 off road
With that price it includes the light package, no halogen.
I came up with one: 7 in heaven
The start/stop didn't work because you took the seatbelt.
We've already reviewed the Cayenne GTS: watch?v=SAxiuqGr3xQ
:) awesome
that is once nice car
no. go to a dealer lot and see that all benzes short of the s class start with leather not included and xenon lights also not standard. then look at the sticker. of course is europe these cars might as well be fords since they commonly are sold without many features
I'd pay extra NOT to have lane keeping assist. I prefer using my eyes. I had this system on a rental car and it randomly slammed on the brakes in traffic...not safe
Keyless go is an inexpensive option. The eco start/stop doesn't kick the engine off if you take the seat belt off - which you did. Geeze. Read the manual. Normally decent reviews but this one STINKS.
the reason why the start stop didn't engage during 2:51 is the engine will remain running when you take off your seatbelt which you did just before trying to demonstrate this. any off road test from the 4matic system? been wanting to put mine to the test but a little scared to be stuck and look like a moron haha
Hahhha, you took the seatbelt off, the ECO start-stop system is deactivated
I've never seen this car before in the UK. Is it not sold here?
Does this car have parking assist system to park it automatically.

The Evoque is in a completely different class of power, off-roading and especially price
Un coche precioso y a temporal. Mucha personalidad, no como su sustituto glc vulgar y copia de Audi y BMW.
The ECO function probably didn't work because you took your seatbelt off
Why does my glk350 seem slow like when I go 60 it feels like its going 50 because all the cars keep passing
What the hell is this music. 2014 wasn’t that long ago
2:25 You say echo echo echo....

THAT wheel is cayenne turbo wheel... WTH
My GLK 350 needed most of the brake lines replaced because they rusted and leaked. Mercedes said "its your problem" cost $2700. Brake lines shouldn't rust, the black plastic over the lines that caused rusting. poor design.
1:00 What is so special about a push button?
Now you can buy a ok one for 5k
2:45 It’s not working because you took your seatbelt off
BLABLABLA, oh ! mercedes still use traditional key! HAHAHA
These are nice expensive title hot rods . BUT......remember my warning. You will remember this pine.......when you are bout to pull your lower lip over your forehead when Mercedes Benz tells you there is no fault code for the annoying problem you are having . So that means there is no problem with the car. It’s all in your imagination. In this video can you hear the ticking sound from under the dash board? My GLK 350 2014 had that problem. They couldn’t fix it.....WELL..... Mercedes Benz has a lube kit designed for that problem. It’s a real pain to grease things up when it gets cold. There is an actual part number for that lube kit. Remember, NO FAULT CODE, NO PROBLEM. So, what does that tell you? Think about it. Next time you go to a grocery store or any store for that matter and the clerk hands you back a handful of cash and says here is your change........ask her to count it back to you. Well, geez Louise they can’t. Does that remind you of a Mercedes Benz mechanic? They do not know how to diagnose or chase a problem, even though you have complained about the same problem for four years like me. Even though this is now out of Warranty and was present while still in warrant it is a warranty repair. Now, that tells me Mercedes knows about this issue and refuses to fix it. This is their out to clean my clock FOR the repair. No fault code, no problem. When your hear those words, you will remember this pine. my GLK is dangerous to drive because the problem is intermittent . My next stop is one of two places......the nearest Cadillac dealer, or the California Bureau of Automotive Repairs.....and then the caddy dealer. Get this, I keep getting a flyer on how good a customer I am and how much they want me to buy another Mercedes Benz. Why would I want to buy another Mercedes when they can’t fix this one? I don’t feel good about passing this problem onto an unsuspecting person, unless that person was my brother and my ex wife.
Yes 'ECO', not 'ECCO'. KUTGW!

Roman you need to put lotion on your hands. No offense.
The only thing you can do with this is flash off your keys. I'd like to see it last 10 minutes next to my 4Runner!
Why is every german car owner a jew when it comes to repair bills?
DON'T BUY MERCEDES I have 2012. GLK 350 At 90k miles drive shaft broke $7k later... Needs a new ignition switch ... turn the key.. nothing happens... Buy Lexus or Toyota. No problems
