    I'm really sick of seeing people saying "Why didn't you go with the V8" Like if their obligated to explain why they didn't... Um..maybe because a V8 version cost more,maybe because the insurance will cost more, maybe because it has a lower MPG,maybe because a 5.0 can be more expensive to fix if something did happen.. So when someone ask me that question I say "Why do you think I didn't "

    +Nexty Goodson i 100% agree with you, they made a v6 for a reason. Who cares if you dont like it? if you dont like it, dont buy one... dont discourage others for getting a v6 because it is more cost effective and etc...

    All comes down to the community your in and the immaturity the people you talk to. That's what my friend says when I got into my full license, which I'm allowed to drive any high performance cars. He tells me "why don't you buy like a V8 commodore" then I said "mate are you joking...why you suggesting me something that doesn't suit my needs, in fact why can't you buy this car since your opinion said so" later on realizes his license is restricted to driving turbo and 8 cylinder cars. lol

    Right! Some people are too dumb to realize, you can't dislike the v6 and like the v8. They're the same body with little difference. As for the engine, it's all hidden underneath the body.......... It's almost like saying a twin is ugly in the face but her sister is attractive because she has on a better bra.........F outta here! lol

    The v6 is just fine. Don't bust your ass for a GT if you can't afford it. Of course it sounds beast and it's fast as hell, but how often are you going to be racing or driving 100mph+ anyways?!? I think 305hp is plenty!!!

    CloroxBleach it's ppl thinking that the size of an engine actually matters. With enough money and knowledge, you can make smaller engines faster. There's a Lancer in Florida I think that has like 900+hp. What I'm getting at that ppl have the mentality that bigger engines are louder, better, and faster which aren't always the case

    Kyle, nice review of the 5.0 and 3.7 Mustangs! The V8 definitely sounds better, but I gotta admit, the V6 sounds pretty mean, too! If I had the money, I'd definitely go for the 5.0, it's worth a little less gas mileage for extra horsepower! :)

We watch them cuz there is literally no where else that we can find all the info about car in such details. I love the part where you show all the interiors and what every single button does. Im 14 now bout to be 15. When i get my license i was supposed to drive a 1996 Infiniti i30. Which honestly isnt that bad. And when i go off to college i am allowed to get a car for under 15,000 dollars that my parents would get me. I got lucky enough that the infiniti broke down last week. So my parents said when or maybe a few months after i get my license i would be able to get my college car. I am looking in the future and i have always loved the look of mustangs. I really like the 2013 v6 mustang used with maybe 40 - 50 thousand miles on it. Im not trying to brag or whatever im just wanting to know what other car fans ( mustang fans ) think.

    Very cool! My first car was a 2002 Hyundai Elantra. When we discovered the undercarriage was rusted out, my dad got me a 2013 Automatic V6, a month later I decided Automatic wasn't cutting it, so we got a 2014 Manual V6 and it's nice. One my wrist heals from being broken I'm going to get a job and get a GT. Goodluck fellow mustang fan :)

    I'm 15 about to turn 16 and my dad got me a 2014 v6 and it is a great first car. It's got enough power to keep up with the pack, but not too much to get you in trouble. It also gets great gas mileage ( for me around 21 city- 27 highway). I got the premium with appearance package which got the black rims and louvers so the car is now all black and have brought it to shows and people love it. I hope for the best that you will end up with this car because I love it!

    Let me ask you this please : if I keep it at 2000rpm from the start in the v6 would it accelerate faster than normal cars? Would I hear a small drift from the rear wheels? I can afford GT or v6 but I need something that's instantly active and can fly when I press the gas

  • @maker7901
    @maker79018 жыл бұрын

    one thing i will say Mustang V6 Does have performance to. but it wont be faster then a v8. we all know that. but main question is whats the point of getting the v8 when you have to pay way more money on higher grade fuel. higher insurance. higher car payment. plus if your going to race in it might as well go to a drag strip. thats just my 2 cents. and no im not saying v8's are bad cars. my point is why break the bank on a v8 when you can get a v6 that still has performance as well. unless you have the money to afford it go for it. but prepair for some high payments and maintenance.

    @leftynic, the Track Package that I mentioned refers to the optional summer tires, 19 inch wheels, and suspension upgrades. This hardware has been the same since 2011. The interior display you mentioned is Track Apps, which is new for 2013. Two different things as you can have the Track Apps on a Mustang that does not have the Track Pack.

    I have owned both the 6 and the 5.0 and prefer the 5.0 for an unusual reason. That motor in the 5.0 is a 300,000 mile motor. I noticed that the oil got dirty real fast in the 6 and that always bothered me. They are both durable cars, but the 5.0 feels like an F150. Real durable car!

  • @barco581
    @barco58112 жыл бұрын

    @1flynlow, no that is not what "optional" means when talking about cars. The 6 speed manual is standard equipment on the Mustang. You pay more for an automatic so that is an option. Another example is cloth vs leather seats. The cloth seats are standard equipment and you can pay more for leather, thus we call leather an option.

    I have a 2014 Mustang Club of America Manual Transmission and it runs great I love that car... The sound is similar but the v8 sound is powerful. That's why I change the Stock Exhaust for the Roush Exhaust and the sound its really better and the sound is more powerful.

    Their live rear axel from the 70s out performed the independent rear suspensions of the Camaro SS and Challenger. It also came within .1 second of getting tied with the M3. However, the 2015 Mustang is set to have an independent rear suspension.

    The first V6 Mustang came in 1974 in the Mustang II and it was a 2.8 liter. The 6 cyl available in the original Mustang was a 200ci (3.3 liter) and it was an INLINE 6. Regardless, the first one off the line was a 260 V8. The 200ci straight 6 returned in 1979 and was gone by 1982. The 3.8 was introduced in '83 and lasted until 2001 when it was updated into a 3.9. Then came the 4.0 in 2005 and 3.7 in '11. Thats your 6cyl Mustang lesson of the day.
