Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
( www.TFLcar.com ) The 2013 2013 Ford Fiesta and the Toyota Prius C and the Scion IQ are the ultimate city cars. They are all small , fuel efficient and they barely seat 4 people. In others they are great cars for the city where parking space is at a premium. They can also be a hoot to drive and for many people they are the perfect first car because they are inexpensive. But which of these three cars is the most fun to drive, which one handless the best and which one is the fastest from 0-60 MPH? Find out in another fun, Informative and entertaining TFLcar mashup review.

I purchased the Prius C3 for $22K which included moonroof, touch screen navigation w/ entune,15" alloy wheels. That also included the taxes & documentation fees. Love it!!
i just purchased a 2012 iq a couple weeks ago and i love it

What sort of fuel usage are you seeing now?
Thanks - enjoyed your comparison review of the three city movers - keep up the good work . . .
You guys are getting better :)
I love the Prius C! I have a 2015 Prius C, the first year after it got the face lift, and it looks sporty af!

I have 2014 Prius C and a 2016 bm 328i, the bmw was fast but i kept the prius c because of the gas mileage and reliability, i let go of my bimmer.
I was torn between the Prius C and the Fiesta. I test drove both and formerly had a Fiat 500 lounge edition. What sold me on my Prius C was the fact that maintenance is included for 2 years, better fuel economy and better resale value. I really wanted the Ford but in the end the Toyota made better dollar and cents to me.
I can understand russian mechanic only. :)
you guys realize the people watching this video are probably thinking about buying one of these cars, and you guys are making fun of the cars the entire video. thumbs DOWN

Prius C in every way. Perfect city car
the prius!!!
Great video! I do think the Iq was fighting out of its weight class a bit. yes it is a city car, but as a MICROcar' it would be more comparable to fia-t500 or smart-fourtwo.
I have a 2013 Ford Fiesta S Hatchback. Bought it 4 months ago, it's basic af but i love it. It's so good to me!
I really like the iQ, however I also like the Smart Fortwo. I just like the fact that so much technology is packed into such cars to make them as safe as possible and as spacious as possible in such a small package.
It would be nice if these "reviewers" wouldn't make fun of these cars. I just traded my Mercedes sl500for the IQ. I was tired of cars guzzling all my money for no reason at all. I live in the mountains, and the IQ is amazing, I love this car. It consistently surprises people that I can just zip up a sharp, long incline with ease. I bought the IQ b/c I like 2 door coupes ! It seems like more of an intimate personal car. I don't often haul people around, and I hate the look of 4 doors. And , yes, I can make a complete U turn in my garage ! Ive had hundreds of cars, and I enjoy this car a lot ! Go drive one, you will fall in love. I don't feel I am driving the typical econobox around, and I love the smiles of spectators. BTW, I am not Scions typical market,,,I am 57 years old. ......and in the real world, it is NOT that slow to 60mph. PS the Aston Martin version is amazing ! One reviewer called it a "little white swan". I agree.

We test drove an iQ. It was OK, but not great. Average road feel and driving dynamics at best. Considered it for the fuel economy and tight turning circle as we do a LOT of urban driving, zipping around, looking for easy parking spaces downtown. In the end we went with a Mazda2, subjectively better looking, similar fuel economy, more practical with 4 doors and way better handling. It feels like a poor man's Miata. Bought a low mileage used one with options and remaining factory warranty for half the price of a new iQ. These guys should have tested a few more subcompacts in this group, such as a Mazda2, Honda Fit, Fiat 500 and Chevy Spark.

Dear Larry- I totally agree! I'm 54 and live in New Hampshire, and drive into Boston and NYC a lot- my 2012 Scion iQ will float on Interstate 91 at 80 MPH like she's on rails, with just a fingertip on the wheel- and even no handed... of course, I grew up in VW Beetles and Porsches in Manhattan in the 60s and 70s, and am an amateur mechanic- have owned a number of American and British classics, including a 55 Austin-Healey 100, a 62 Fuelie Vette (even rebuilt the Rochester unit myself), and a 63 Avanti (number 157 off the factory line)... sold them all to buy out my mortgage, still have my dad's 1995 Miata for summer fun... I inherited her in 2004, and Moss Motors, the British vintage parts company, has a Miata Mania division. I simply use by customer ID number from restoring the Healey...Happy motoring, boss!

Still got the IQ?
Where the hell is the sonic??
You guys based in CO? I know some of those roads. I like your reviews. You guys need to do a Sonic, Abarth, Mini, Fiesta ST comparo once the ST comes out. I currently drive a heavily modified WRX on ethanol but I can't wait for the ST.
prius c is best
I want to buy a mini car for tight city parking. I already own a Honda Jazz, but I can't fit it into hmm... irregular parking spaces. I am considering a Smart fortwo, which is ideal size wise. But the IQ is cheaper and probably a better ride. What are your experiences people with parking in historical city centers? I see that it has a great turning cycle, but it is 30 cm longer than the Smart. On the other hand, it's one meter shorter than my Jazz. Advice is appreciated!
good review
Also I love Nathan turning his hat around before launching the Scion, haha!
Yay Nathan! You wore the DGI sweater! OMG! I like the little IQ too. I hope you boys can compare them to the Spark soon!
TFL, please do a mashup between IQ, Fiat 500, and Chevy Spark - currently the 3 shortest 4 seaters if I'm not leaving anything else out. I'm curious. Thanks!
Just got a Ford Fiesta S hatch 5MT last week and I love it in violet-gray. I am also lucky enough to drive a lot of different cars because Im a porter at the local Toyota dealer.
I like commenting on your videos cause you actually respond to comments haha
🤔 so far my top picks are smart car Scion iQ Ford Fusion electric or C-Max I'm a college student with a full-time job. Me and my friends go out around once a month
Where's the Honda Fit?
I'm deciding between a Ford Fiesta or Toyota Prius C - Any opinions? or advice?
chevy spark vs ford fiesta witch is best?
Who do you think would win the reliability contest?
I'm considering the focus for my 108 mi roundtrip commute to work. What do you think? Thx.
Hey guys, i have a question. Why has the honda fit never made it on your show?
It's spooling out and, eventually, the RPMs go down as the speed increases. It feels slack, but it's not a shift. Very astute of you!
Thank goodness for Andre! It's always nice to have ADDED EYE CANDY. LOL
Where's the sonic?????
Nice vid guys. I like the Kia Rio5 SX in this class. 40mpg, $18k-ish, better style, 138hp, and more real usable room.
Mark here I just got a 2013 Ford Fiesta se. Running it hard over 75mph and it still is getting 35mpg. Had it up to 110.
LOL That was the funniest third host intro. he seemed so excited to review the Prius C
Interesting mashup. I think if I had to choose between those I would buy... something else. The Fiesta is the most tolerable, but I don't fit well in any of them. It reminds me of flying in a Cessna 150. The other thing is that in everyday driving most people would get the same mileage from any of the compacts and you can pick up an Elantra, Cruze or Dart for about the same price as these cars. So if you aren't restricted in parking room there is no advantage to the smallest cars.
That's a bit of a loaded question. Neither are necessarily bad however the automated manual transmission will be more efficient than the CVT assuming it uses a dry clutch.
When you announce the 0-60 time while driving the Scion, are you sure the device wasn't meaning the push bikes coming in the opposite direction at the time? On a serious note, it seems that the "drive by" Video recording has been slowed down a little. That is a little trick I use when I need to make it appear like I am within the speed limits..I mean it is a trick I would use if I sped!
Can you do a video on the best first cars for teens or the best cars for under 18k?
7:48, you guys almost murdered some creeper crawler!
I like you guys! Love that you named your cars and likened them to animals. YEP. I do it toooo. Thanks for making me laugh and giving me the info I need!
Went with Fiesta. Thank you!! Picking it up today. Will let you know about the MPG : ) - Price is cheaper than Prius C though...

I love mine!
Yay! He's wearing DGI hoodie!
I watched this video very light-heartedly and enjoyed it, Prius C is the best.
Andre rocks the party!
5:54 Don't expect much from hybrids in that altitude. In the Prius, the battery delivers around 32bhp to the electric motor, which is supposed to deliver over 80 bhp. While under acceleration, the engine would spur up and generate electricity from the generator which would feed the main motor in acceleration. Because the Prius can switch to a Chevy Volt way (Parallel) of driving, or Honda's IMA way (Series) of driving, it's complicated but the ICE engine makes the most of the power.
"Here we have an angry turtle over here, a startled hamster, and this, well, that's a pissed off pigeon."
Guys, you should try to get a hold of the Fiesta 1.0 L automatic, which is the4 one most people will buy, all the reviews are on the manual.
So why didn't you guys drive these to the city to test them?
Andri is the best reviewer ever :)
Whats with the "Sonic RS Tech Demo" blip at 0:59 ? lol
Would be fun to do some handbrake turns in the Fiesta.
The Fiesta is the only one that is routinely used as a Rally Car! I vote Fiesta!
What did Andre say?
The newest Fiesta has a great new grill. And they are coming out with an ST version! Go with the fiesta!
What is scion? In England the IQ is branded as a Toyota.
compré un prius c y estoy muy satisfecho
Pissed off pigeon? Lmao I lost it.
what about the Mazda 2?
It's an American brand of Toyota's aimed at younger audiences. I remember when they were getting opinions towards what the people wanted from the TC, and as far as I can tell it was a pretty big hit.
i dont understand why the scion is so expensive if its in a market segment below that of the fiesta.. can u guys explain to me why someone wouldn't just get a roomier, more powerful fiesta that gets the same fuel economy for the same price instead of the smaller iq
Pretty sure they are coming out with a focus ST not a Fiesta ST, but I could be wrong.
Nathan, did a bird crap on your cool Rush shirt 5:00?!?
Ya need to do a review on the fiesta st. mine is much faster than those and i am getting 33mpg
ya he did. he also forgot to mention the base price for the prius c, mentions that he fiesta is faster, but glances over the fact that the prius c is almost twice as efficient (50 mpg) versus the fiesta.
19k for a Fiesta is just silly. You can get a nice Focus SE for only a thousand more, and its a much larger and much faster car.
When I first started viewing this from the get-go my impression was you had already picked the Ford Fiesta, giving you a thumbs down for a sorry review of 3 nice cars.
Hey Nathan I'm sure you realize your mistake, but the Fiesta has a 5 speed manual not six.
What about the Honda Fit? Way more space and way more fun.
12.7 s vs 14.2 s and you guys didn't mention the base price for the prius c. i have a ford and i like it, but you guys seem a little biased here . . . ya the ford is faster but it has 28 mpg vs a combined of 50 mpg which is double the efficiency . . . isn't that what you're looking for in these cars? right . . .
Well in Australia 0 to 100 kph is 10.2 so how it took you 14.2 is beyond me
Its strange how in the UK only the IQ is considered a city car. The Fiesta and Prius C are supermini's.
The 2013 Ford Fiesta is the best one! The Scion IQ is a toy to play in your garage and around your neighborhood ;]
Why don't they have the 5-speed in an IQ?
You should have discussed the automatic transmission on the fiesta. I bought one and it is more like a manual, meaning that due to its double clutch(instead of a torque converter) design it rolls back endlessly in some situations. When backing out of parking spot for instance. I love my fiesta. It just takes some getting used to. I can't believe you failed to mention this but found time to make Russians are stupid jokes and commented on CVT trans.? FYI mile high stats are useless to most of the U.S. The fiesta won due to the transmission design, clutches provide more power to the wheels over the traditional torque converter style, or CVT transmissions. You guys kinda winged this video huh?
They already came out with the focus ST. But the fiesta is on the horizonn
The American Fiesta has a slightly different grille to my Euro model, not as attractive imo: they are good to drive.... very happy with mine!
not if you live in a very busy and densely populated city go to Japan or any other Asian city and you will say the opposite, it is probably one of the most practical cars if you plan to do most driving in a big city
Just as an FYI you can fit 4 high-school students in an IQ at the same time. They just have to be two 6 foot tall skinny males in the front and 2 5 foot girls in the back seats lol
the IQ's end squats so much when you floor it im afraid it may just hit the ground... too much power for me!
I want a prius c. Don't care if simple minded people think I'm gay or whatnot. The fuel savings though!

Thomas Griffin I'm into hardcore man on man on man love action. I really am and I am thinking of buying one of these automobiles.
I own a fiesta with automatic and get around 34 mpg. Not sure how these guys drive but if u don't accelerate a ton you can actually get good gas mileage on it!
27-28 city 38-39 highway combined is around 33-34 for the fiesta.
no, only CVT is available in the US
YEAH PEOPLE GO WITH THE FIESTA !! REALLY !!
GOOO IQ I love mine, I am 152cm tall so I can actualy fit 4 people in mine( not 3 men who let themself go ofcorse). Its not really fair to compair it to those other two cars. If you want to compair it to other car it shoud be a smart car
$60k is an overstatement, I’d say with incentives, more like $45k
new hot seller will be the fiesta 1.0 3 cylinder turbo here in the USA. europe also gets the 1.0 in focus and mondeo(fusion).... if i were in my mid teens to mid 20s again i would be all over it(with manual transmission) about 1500 dollars in performance mods will safely get it up to fiesta ST levels without the fuel economy loss that comes with the extra cylinder and 600ccs
Pissed off pigeon for me :D
love ford fiesta
Honestly I didn't think the Fiesta was a viable proposition but after your mashup I could really see myself in one. Kudos Roman and Nathan
the Prius C is actually called the Toyota Aqua
@EdPMur
5 жыл бұрын
It's called Prius c in North America and Aqua in Japan and some other asian countries.
Depends who makes it, some are really good, some' like Ford's, not so much, just read any reviews of the Focus and Fiesta so equipped, most complain about the jerkiness. Oh and then there's the durability issue, and how expensive they will be to repair.
Prius c is the best out of the 3

Prius looks the best out of the 3
So where's the fit, sonic/spark, accent?
The focus already has a tiny back seat for tall people (I'm about the same height as you, Roman)...so I don't understand how a Fiesta could even be remotely bearable? Another thing...I'm tired of manufacturers making these tiny econoboxes that have minuscule room up front, let alone in the back. Why even bother with backseats and rear doors? I understand they need to meet increasingly stricter CAFE standards, but these things just seem useless! Spend about the same and get a 50 mpg Golf TDI.
