2013 Ford F-150 Tight Steering / Lack of Power Steering Issue Resolved!

2009-2014 Ford F-150 Intermediate steering shaft replacement. Customer complaint is of tight steering or in their words "loss of power steering". This system runs EPAS (Electronic power assisted steering) Which means the power steering on this truck is electronic. The causal failure of the steering was the intermediate steering shaft.
Tools Needed:
10MM
13MM
Medium and Long extension
Ratchet and or small impact
Hammer
Remove the top 13MM bolt from the steering shaft. Rotate the steering wheel to gain access to the lower 10MM steering shaft bolt. After bolts are removed use a hammer to dislodge the shaft from the rack and upper steering shaft. Install the new shaft and re-install the bolts. Please try and use 6 point sockets. If you try to use a 12 point socket especially in the rust belt, you could strip the lower 10mm bolt making life miserable on yourself.
