Flew down from Canada to watch for the 2nd year in a row. Cheering for our Canadian boys. Outstanding race by Ben Young and too bad he got so little coverage. Great race and experience each time. Watched from high up in the stands on the front straight for a view of more of the track Dont get to see too much from the infield. My PVR only recorded the 2 Superbike races so I really appreciate this vid. Theres nothing like the Daytona 200.

I was in the infield (spotted at 54:32), so it's awesome that I can see the whole race from this perspective :D Thanks a million :D

Woohoo I missed it on TV! This seems like a race that would be awesome for 1000cc bikes.

Thank You Very Much AMA-Pro. The idea is to grow this series back to its Factory Participation Glory Days. This can only help the cause and bring exposure to the sponcers. Well done!

Some idiots thought that it'd be too dangerous for the riders because of tire wear so it's the 2nd class the one who runs the race. It's like the Indy 500 was run with Indy lights cars :-SSS BTW, AMA pro road racing needs classes with international rules, not these American-only classes. Even SSP is not regulated like the World SSP championship

This is the class that is below the " superbikes ". The superbikes are 1000cc. The sport bike category is 600's , its similar to the dealership bikes you can buy yourself. The sport bike category, Its like " moto 2 " below the moto gp bikes.

My understanding is that the 1000 have gotten so powerful, over 200 hp. They overheat and tear up the tires do to the long hard acceleration on the high banks. So, by moving down to the 600 cc class, it all become manageable and way less dangerous...my opinion ...now... is that they could probably do it...I thing the engineering has improved and being able to advertise superbikes running at 200 + mph would be very good for the sport.
