I wouldn't have any issue buying a van from Barry. he seems like a honest genuine guy.. His not throwing this van down your throat just to get a sale.. Awesome.. well done mate.

I like nice square shape area in the back makes good use of the space but like you said about the handbrake on the right hand side of the drivers seat you could easily forget that it was there one day as you are getting in or out not sure I like that design .

yep I think the design should be like the ones in some of the old sports cars where you pulled the handbrake on then the lever just went flat to the centre consul, this would stop iyt digging in your leg (if you are lucky) when you slide out of the cabin

Lovely van, I'm gonna get one of these, probably L1 if I can though, upgrading from dispatch very happy with but wd love to stand up in back, I'm an electrician. Do you remember how much this one went for? Low mileage... fantastic that it had those locks4vans deadlocks, I've done my van out in them and slam locks and armorplate. Never looked back since everyone else in the road was smashed into, mine was left alone. Twice. as fr trafficmaster, absolutelly hate them. AWFUL!!!

Can the deadlocks be disabled if need be ? I'm a multi drop courier and hate the thought of unlocking it with a key 150 times a day

it depends on what we buy for stock, Golfs have just slowed down a little since the emissions scandal, but we will buy them if they come up

Thanks for the reply Yeah that's very true good point. Currently driving an 07 1.2 Polo it's a great little car but underpowered so need something with a bit more Torque. Would be interested in seeing you test driving one and getting your thoughts and opinions on the Golf

We have a minibus version of this, and it isn't the fastest van, but it does have healthy amount of torque
