I like this style over the ugly euro unibody vans.

Agreed
Have one and love it. Has High top and everything on it works. Plain Jane but does everything well. Built to last!
Just saw a 2020 model, they’re a miss mash of GM parts of the past 30 years. They still use the same door handles from the C/K era! It was cool to see!
Possibly the best driving experience I've had was in a 2003 model. I've always like vans and those narrow Euro styles are hideous.
My buddy's 2013 Chevy 2500 Express with the 4.8L just had the transmission go out at 190,000 miles. The transmission rebuild shop charged him $5000. Other than that, it's been a pretty good van.
I have a 2010 Chevy express 2500 with 200,000 miles. Drives great, a/c still works, 4.8 engine. 15mpg. Work van.

The de facto standard for the trades! Plumbers... Sheetrock installers... Electricians... You know the drill... You get the idea.

Yep. My buddy has this van for his electrician and HVAC company.
I like the new transits but 80k for a cargo van is insane.
Thank you Sir, I want to buy for outdoor You recommend an chevy express or cargo van?
Denise and I have been looking at these, actually the GMC model. Thinking about doing the mini RV build and maybe road tripping it around the west coast for a few months.... I am guilty tho...I've been looking at the transit connect as well..lol

The AWD model is a compelling option. Transit connect would be pretty cool and good mpgs!

I recently bought a 2007 Chevy Express 3500 Ext 15 Passenger van. It is quieter - much quieter. In the process of outfitting it for wife and I to head out and check out National Parks - assuming pandemic ever ends.

When the rear seats are removed, is the floor flat without protrusion like a cargo van? Thanks
I'm trying to find a new 2022 to 2023 Chevy Express cargo Van on finding it to be very difficult. There are only a few of them out there that have the big 6.6 l V8 engine the only engine I will take in the van. Along with the locking rear end. I would really love to get an extended version van cargo but they don't make them at all from what I can find. Unless you get a people carrying van and gut it out. And pay for more..8-15K more
One of the last vehicles made with sealed beam headlights that you can replace without being a contortionist.

Just bought a 2007 Chevy Express 2500 for $7000 last week. Smooth ride, however, I think it's the tires making a high pitch noise like yer on a NASCAR race track. My dog seems to be bothered by this noise.

Anybody know what's the control traction on and off is for??

It allows the driver to turn the 'Stabilitrak' on and off. Stabilitrak is used for using the brakes to lock up a spinning drive wheel and send torque to the non slipping wheel.

What do you think of the armrests being too high? I have also heard they have a lot of rattles?

New Ford transits are unreliable from what I hear. When running a business reliability is more important than saving a few dollars in gas

Narsty, and not even that cheap. Camper conversions seem to favour the Euro-style vans nowadays.
