Yes it does, you can change the actual needle to read mph, so the 330 actually turns into 330mph.

That still doesn't explain why it displays MPH in the center, and it matches the needle which is supposedly in KPH.

I run 4.4-4.6 with my bone stock 2013 GT 5.0, on 20" street tires. This can't be a ZL1. But I don't see a SS auto convertible running a 4.4 sec run like they did either.

So it's both a KPH and MPH speedometer. Just whatever you have it set on the needle changes accordingly and coincides with the digital speedo. Neat. Wish the U.S. would just switch to the metric system.

I have this car. You have to totally disable the modes by holding the button 10 secs or the car cuts power bad. Doesn’t look like he did that here.

so what? Speedo in the center is in MPH and in the left - in KMH right? The question is why the left speedo displays 60 when the middle-speedo shows the same? Left should display 100 KMH!

That would make sense, except for the fact that it says MPH on the digital speedo, and that is matching what the needle points at...

Skip the damn first gear. I light up the tires in 2nd on my 2014 zl1 if I floor it so why the heck would you use 1st? I think 1st is only meant to have fun on a parking lot on this car :) I see no use for 1st whenever I drive my car, which is daily.

This is actually a little sad, I run a 13.8 in a slightly tuned cx-30 turbo with just over 300hp. It's kinda crazy that it would be a contender with this thing.

It changes everything... I live in the US. If I change my units to "metric", my speedometer actually says "kph" on it and the needle moves as such. My temperature for the climate controls change to C and my digital speedometer also reads in kph. Same for the Canadians... if they switch off the metrics, their speedometers, both digital and analog, will show "mph".

Wow 13.4 is about exactly what a 400hp SS runs Motor Trans got 11.9@117 out of a auto ZL1 Coupe and figure the Vert is maybe just a COUPLE ticks slower but NO WAY a full SECOnD and a HALF

If its a KPH Speedometer then why does the center digital "60MPH" speed line up with the 60 KPH? If its a KPH Speedo shouldn't it line up with around 100?

You can change between mph/kph

The first gear shifts WAY too early. supercharged engines usually shift at the redline or about 500 above redline.

Really I thought they more powerful than that my Z do 0-60 in 4.1 with traction on but not stock

Even the smartest of us need things to be broken down and explained. when you change the speedo from kph-mph the calibration will change the needle from kph to mph so that it will be in sync with the display.

Ghaleb Haddad Yes. There is a setting that allows the driver to change the displayed speed between MPH and KPH. It changes both the *digital readout* AND the *speedometer dial*. Depending on the country that the car is sold in, it will have a speedometer that has markings on it that make the most sense for that country - this one has a speedo that would make the most sense for KPH. However, you can change that from KPH to MPH if you travel to another country, or feel more comfortable using MPH.

I would love a 2012 SS or ZL1 but those gauge clusters are so hideous I can never buy one.

A zl1 wont ever run 11 flat with drag radials, and that 11.7 bone stock was an extreme anomaly. In general, its a low 12 second car stock, and a high 11 second car with just drag radials.

You don't know how to drive it! I got a zl1 2013 stock, I beat the new SRT8 challenger and charger, and Jeep SRT8 2009 (intake, headers, catback,tune) and still won. I also beat the ML63 AMG.

the m3 is way better than the zl1 i agree with Dimitri my dad's porsche 911 turbo with 480 hp can get 0-60 in like 3.8 secs and this takes 580hp to get to 60 in 4.4 secs no thanks and the m3 runs a quarter mile in 12.3-12.5 depending on how you launch and when you shift the zl1 takes 13.4 sec thats closer to the 335i which has 300 hp and does quarter miles in 13.5 secs and as a bonus is like 30k cheaper and one with jb4 and some down pipes can get very close and sometiomes beat and m3 once again chevy has failed

because he has more low torque in the rpm range than the m3 , were talking about 556 lb- ft vs 315 lb-ft . put them head to head at 40 mph and you'll only see dust from the zl1

I drove both cars bro trust me when I say this GM put a muzzle on the mouth of that Bull Mastiff of a ZL-1 so it wouldn't kill the owners who may not be trully able to handle that power untammed. Compared to my SS the M3 felt torqueless where as the ZL-1 feels like a catapult made to blast you into a wall like that time machine on TimeCop. Honestly I was even scared to really push the ZL-1.

Laweeze Morton You have a good point here. Im going to cross shop the new Camaro SS with the 435i. MPPK/Dinan Stage 2 can make a whole lot of difference in the bimmer and for the chevy with a stock V8 you'd expect much faster response but it's not much of a difference when it comes to acceleration. At the end of the day, Camaro for the price offers better dynamics whereas the BMW can cost a lot for the tune/m performance accessories.

Sweet. Any '08-'10 Mercedes Benz CL63 AMG with the M156 6.2L N/A V8 can run the same numbers within a tenth of a second or two... While weighing 600+ pounds more and looking like a million bucks. Granted, it cost more than double what the ZL1 does from the factory when they produced it without taking inflation into account. The version of the M156 engine in the 2013 Mercedes Benz SLS AMG Black series produces 622hp from the factory with natural aspiration... Ridiculous numbers. Over 100hp / liter ...

The analog speedometer is in miles not KM. You'll see it reads the same as the digital one, they're both on 30 and the digital says 30mph so they're both in miles. The speedometer does go up to 330 MPH, not kmh
