Keine Ahnung, wie oft ich mir dieses Video hier im Laufe der Zeit schon angesehen habe.. 10 mal mit Sicherheit. Wenn ich am Freitag die 17 Millionen gewinne, kaufe ich mir definitiv den neuen Vanquish. Meiner Meinung nach das stilvollste, schönste & imposanteste Auto, das man sich kaufen kann und dank des neuen 8-Gang Getriebes ist er auch noch geschwindigkeitstechnisch auf Liga der absoluten Supersportler. Schade, dass dieser hier noch das alte Getriebe verbaut hat. Aber ist ja auch von Januar das Video.. Naja. Jedenfalls absoluter Traum das Auto.

thats because steering wheel is made from expensive luxury leather, sensitive to bare hand touch... so thats the reason, why he have gloves... ;) quite paradox, most luxury leather and you cannot touch it by bare hand... :D

***** as first, I forgot to tell, that in TV news it was mentioned to Mercedes... so, I had call into Mercedes today and it isn't bullshit... top class Mercedes, model S, can be equiped with special, very soft some kind of squirrel leather and gloves are needed to hold a wheel... but leather on a wheel and gloves must be replaced every year... maybe is it bullshit for Aston - so I'm sorry, but it is true for Mercedes... :)

My father wears gloves while driving ever since having had skin cancer. Maybe this guy has some medical reason, idk. But it does fit with what you'd picture an Aston Martin owner wearing

The gearbox seems slower than my V8 Vantage Sportshift, if you change the gear with the gas pedal in full throttle than the gearbox is much faster, you did it? If yes than it's very strange :(

That's probably just the angle of the camera that gives that impression. From a drivers position there is no problem to see the nav screen. Still the nav is horrible...;-)

Mehr oder weniger zufällig. Habe damals den Vanquish aus Bonn geholt, daher die Aufnahmen auf diesem "freien" Autobahnabschnitt.

That sound more than makes up for the sluggish gearbox. It’s like you have to pull the paddle one second early so that it won’t hit the rev limiter.

What are the RPM in normal cruising speed? Is not the 6th gear too short destroying the acoustic ride comfort? I mean normal speed everywhere outside the Germany so lets say 130-140 km/h :).

***** Beim AM ist das ne ganz herkömmliche 6 Gang Automatik. So schnell schaltet die Mercedes 7G Tronic Plus ebenfalls im Sportmodus. Für einen Sportwagen schaltet diese doch sehr träge...das hört man sehr gut. Trotz 120PS mehr und einem V12 ist der Vanquish nicht schneller als ein C 63 AMG auf 100km/h.

Mercedes AMG letzlich muss ja ein Auto nicht nur im finanziellen Rahmen passen sondern einen persönlich gefallen, In sachen klang und Optik fand ich den DBS sehr geil, bei den Vanquish find ich die hinteren 2 sitze überflüssig den das ist ja nen Sportwagen kein Pempersbomber, ich hätte da etwas den Tunnel verlängert und ein kleines Kühlfach für Getränke eingebaut, wie beim Range Rover, bei Mercedes denkt man zuerst an Türken Porsche bei Astron Martin eher an James Bond^^ aber wie gesagt Geschmäcker sind verschieden, sicher hat jede marke ihre stärken und schwächen aber das man ja die Autos interessanter^^

ach ja, bei so videos wärs cool wenn du in die ecke den tacho einblenden könntest :)

I'd buy this over anything else just for that noise and those looks..... but wheres the money....

SRAMEK Yeah sorry for the mistake, I forgot to specify that AMG will provide V8 Engines. But the new Vanquish and Rapide S 2015 has a new gearbox touchtronic III that provide a fast gear shifting :)

That will be excelent. :-) Don't you think, that AMR lost a bit of contact with other brands? I mean, nowadays when GTs by for example Mercedes have far over 600 hp, even BMW M6s have 560 from smaller turbo engines, they are lighter and much faster. 573 hp from a V12 of that size is nothing special by Aston and the weight. Let's hope, that their new cars will be really good not only because AMG.

Es ist auch nicht erlaubt die linke Spur zu verstopfen, obwohl Unbegrenzt ist. Deswegen Rechtsfahrgebot :) dass man nicht rechts überholen darf weiß ich, aber wenn der Vordermann keinen Platz macht wird er eben rechtsüberholt.

Not really gay. It's a reference to racing car Drivers of the good old days, like the Bentley Boys for example. Those gloves gave them grip on the usually wooden steering Wheel and made sure their Hands didnt get sweaty.
