This car will go 500,000 with regular oil changes, that's it.....good luck doing that in the Verano. The Buick will need to change the fuel pump 3 times, water pump 4 times, radiator 2 times, half shafts 5 times, master cyl 2 times, among other things as well...... get my point ??

From viewing your videos this seems to be the perfect car match for you. I had the 04 TSX when it first came out and this puts me in mind of it in a lot of ways. Just like Everyman Driver stated in their review about the age of the perspective audience grab, I didn't opt for the ILX for a trip down memory lane when I traded my Mini, I moved on to a 2012 TSX Tech (glad to be back in the Acura family). Hope you're enjoying your ILX. Looking forward to the review when the weather permits.

I can't say it's better. Both engines have their disadvantages and advantages. The ILX has more high RPM pull and is much louder than the GTI. It always gets slightly better real world fuel economy. I'm averaging 28 MPG in mixed driving. The GTI has more low-end torque and makes a more muted noise. It doesn't pull as hard near redline but its still puts a smile in your face. It comes down to what you personally prefer. I can't tell you that one is better than the other.

0-60 in 6sec. That's what I got... that imo is pretty good, my accord coupe v6 does 0-60 in 7.3 and its got 270hp (heavier though)

I heard the ILX will get leather standard as well as power seats and a few other things. The ILX will come standard with a more powerful engine, though we don't know what it is. Its a safe bet to assume it will have better sound insulation and upgraded interior

There are rumors. Most likely Acura will put the automatic with the 2.4 and make the tech package available as well

Buick Verano turbo could smoke this thing and it costs less too and you get better incentives and lease deals. As much as I like Acura, the 2.4 should have been standard with a V6 or turbo 4 being the more powerful motor.

Pretty good. Still dislike the sound the k24 makes. It sounds very ordinary unlike a k20 which sounds a bit better.
