This is such a common problem with Siennas I am surprised and disappointed that there is NO INFORMATION on the WHY? TOYOTA is completely silent on the issue.

I has the same problem but the radio in my van is after market navigation unit by eclipse the navigation part of the system came back on but the radio didn't work after returning home tried disconnecting the battery to see if that would work but no luck, then tried utube to see what it could be and one on the blogs said check fuses well I did that and lost one trying to put it back in but had another one to put in but still didn't work checked the manual for the navigation unit and it say to check the sound level but not on the FM mode readjusted the levels still no radio, put in a CD in the unit and tried but still didn't work, so left the CD in place ,the next day when for a ride and the radio came back to life and has worked since. Hope this will help someone

I guess another option is to unplug the DVD at the screen in the back - there are some other videos on how to do that. I didn't mess with it any further - the CD in the DVD player trick is still working fine for me.

I’m having the same issue with my 2013 sienna le unfortunately it doesn’t have any dvd player. The lights blinks all the time sometimes the cd and radio works and sometimes doesn’t don’t know what is the issue sometimes it makes a grrrrrr grrrrr grrrrr noise too

You have to press down the auxiliary and then go to the volume control at the same time
