you would be enthusiastic too when u saw these in real, you can tell by the delay of the sound how far they are actually standing and still the fireworks take almost your whole frontal view. this really must have been epic!

Been to a summer festival in japan and it’s pretty intense. Lasted for a few hours and it was non stop fireworks from start to finish. A must see once In your lifetime!

It's interesting how the crickets stop "cricking" once they hear the big boom of the shell go off and then start up again after awhile. Maybe they feel its safe again to make noise. Must be some animal instinct

Not really. A supernova is much much much bigger. Even though these look big to us they are very small by comparison.
