you're not missing much. I myself never really liked twinkies. the only hostess product I really enjoyed were the coffee cakes, and those are near impossible to find anymore. other brands have coffee cake, but those too are hard to find.

Good think the hostess company didn't stop leaking them I would have been sad

Parents didn’t want me to eat twinkies so much when I was 7, dad filled one with mayonnaise and left on table knowing I would snatch. Haven’t eaten one in over a decade.
