I'm astonished by the comments. It's a privilege to have access to recordings of Prof. E. Ostrom's lectures. She and her husband were truly remarkable and powerful minds.

Better theory was mentioned by Prof. Ostrom. Worthy of investigation and consideration is the divine economy theory.

For a brilliant scholar and seasoned lecturer her um and ah count is stratospheric

She was dying from pancreatic cancer when this was filmed. She passed about a month after this lecture.
