i must say the 3.7 is actually quite decent for a V6

I love my 3.7! I have a supercab 4x4 with 3.73 gears. I was renovating my house last month and had to pick up 1700 lbs of hardwood flooring which exceeds my payload by 200 lbs. I decided to take it home in one load, surprisingly it did well. It definitley hauled like a V6 but I still had more than enough passing power even going uphill.

Here I am 10 years later and the only thing I miss about a v8 is the torque. There seems to be a flat spot in the powerband that just won't hold 65mph because the transmission automatically selects a higher gear and when the revs drop off under light throttle, it's like falling into a black hole with maximum pucker factor as freeway traffic passes you like you're standing still. If you like hearing the engine work hard, you definitely won't be disappointed

I had a F150 with a V8, recently got an F150 with 3.7 and am definitely impressed.

For me, the ram is the best Pick up now!! I'm not a friend of the ecoboost Turbo but I love the 3,7! It's a good powertrain!

I'd seen this channel plenty before, I had no idea it was Sofyan and that this was the predecessor to Redline Reviews

We actually had a few F-150s with the 4.2. After a while, it sounded like a diesel at idle. And it only had something like 202 hp, really, not good. Im glad they gave it a proper enigne. This make the GM 4.3 look like something from 50 years ago.

I get between 1000 and 1200 km a tank with the 136L tank. Depending on time of year. I have a 2011 SCab with the 3.7

The Ecoboost 2WD model is rated at 16/22 just below the 3.7L but way more power lol

with the towing package option, the 3.7 can tow about 6000 pounds, which isn't too bad.

Oh shit, I didn't even know they even made a 3.7 available for the crew cab. And 17/23 it's the same as the Ecoboost V6. Good video

The 3.7 doesn't get anywhere near 17/22 mpg. Im getting 15 city and about 18 hwy. You'd have to run it below 2k rpm full time to get anywhere close to factory stats

That’s the way my 3.7 is.If you put your foot in it just a little bit every now and then you are going to get around 15 mpg.I love it so far though.Been driving it 8 years and I love to put it through it paces every now and then.It is a fun truck with the high revving 3.7 duratech.

I have one just like this one..Daily driver rides great quiet..

ngl they can tow i’ve towed we good 7k pounds no problem just the mpg goes down a bit but that’s typical

we have a 2012 F-350 XLT 4x4 crew cab with the new 6.7L diesel and man I love that truck. It's so quiet and rides very nice. its twice the truck the dodge was, had a '05 Dodge 2500 Crew Cab with the cummins. ugg what a pos. we rebuilt the front end on it like 3 times and it only had 149,000 miles. I'll never buy a dodge again. I am so impressed with the new F-350 its Ford for me from here on out. Screw GM, they took a bailout.

I was originally looking at the Tacoma. Awesome mid-size truck but the F-150 has some more capability with a very small loss of mpg.

The 3.7 is a 5.0 -2 cylinders. 310 hp is more power than the 5.4

Yea but they have different power bands. That's what is important. 310hp at 6,500RPM? on the 3.7

damn the gas mileage is around the same on my dads 4runner, do u have a ecoboost f150 up yet?, btw u using ur new camera or a iphone still?

excuse my comments negativity, but 35k!??! for a 2wd 3.7l no mods low end interior?!! you could get a beautiful brand new ram 2500 CUMMINS. and even have left over money for mods.

Time to grease drive shafts in 2018 on these trucks. They will start slip bumping.
