Desert Classic "signature event." We always offer this as a free event. All kids in the room can join in the fun. It's adorable. At the end, the "Chicken Dance Champ" is receives a Chicken Dance Elmo as a trophy. Look at this crowd of kids. Desert Classic has one of the largest childrens ballroom events in the USA. In 2012 the comps lasted 12 hours. One event had 48 COUPLES this year. The judges are all well-known champions and they are having as much fun as the kids

Not judging but I feel like the girl in the green dress that was at 8:24 should have been the winner. Not saying that the actual winner did worst, but that girl had a better chicken dance technique. Lol Great video by the way. ;)

Yes it's not fair to the kids that really like the chicken dance, and had to be eliminated. 😡
