This type of scanner is particularly useful for mechanics and car enthusiasts who want to troubleshoot problems and perform advanced diagnostics. By investing in a high-quality full system diagnostic scanner, you can save time and money by fixing issues yourself and avoid costly trips to the mechanic.
Ford Focus
The third generation of the Ford Focus, also known as the Focus Mk III, was manufactured between 2011 and 2018 in Europe, while in North and South America, it was produced from 2012 to 2019/20. This compact car was offered in two body styles: a 4-door sedan and a 5-door hatchback, in addition to a 5-door estate (wagon) model. The introduction of a new 2.0-liter direct injection I4 engine was another notable feature of this generation of the Focus. Nonetheless, the variant of the Focus fitted with the Ford DPS6 PowerShift transmission encountered significant criticism for experiencing transmission shuddering, with multiple lemon law claims filed. This issue was attributed to the dry-type clutches used in gasoline-powered models. Ford's response to this issue is to replace the clutch pack assembly with updated parts when shuddering exceeds 250 rpm upon customer complaint. Nevertheless, despite this setback, the third-generation Ford Focus remains a popular choice for drivers seeking an efficient and dependable compact car.

OK, this is strange. I have a 2014 Focus SE hatchback. I looked in the hatch compartment, and there is no fusebox there. The cover is there, but there's no fusebox. Any idea where else it could be?

My 2017 Focus ST has the same fuse boxes in the same locations. Question though, I am trying to locate the Flasher aka Turn signal relay, upgraded all my lights to LED, I have the new LED relay, but cannot find the location to replace the old with the newer LED version. Thank you!

That one's a bitch, took me probably half an hour the first time I was taking it off (even worse - in the dark). The trick is you don't pull on the part of the plastic latch that's parallel to the ground, but on the one that's deeper down, pointing at the ground. Hook index and middle fingers, place them so that the fingernails touch the fuse box, and pull up and away. Still takes a bit of force, pushing the cover from the front towards the steering wheel might help loosen it up a bit. Let me know if this explanation makes sense and if it works. If not, I'll send you a vid.

@@piotrdomagalski5096 I did manage to get it open the other day, but I snapped off the little plastic part. No worries, the case closes mostly. Heck, I was just checking a fuse for the O2 sensor any way. Manifold Convertor changes, P0420 error. O2 sensor changed, P0420 error. Checked fuse and changed, P0420 sensor error. Never buying a Ford again; too many problems.
