    Just bought a 2012 VW CC sport Rline for $9,300 and had 41,000 miles. I ran a ecu check and got a great steal. Don’t pay 10grand for a car that has over 100000 miles

    The "S" is for Sport mode on the DSG gearbox. Faster shift points and quicker throttle response. Also the wheels are 18in. on ContiPro Contact tires. Good video man.

    Glad I caught this video. I own a 2013 cc sport. I purchased for $9000 at around 48,000 miles. I had a problem with my engine check light as well. The second day in, I had to bring it back for the dealer to look at. I did this several times. One time, before they put in a whole new motor (they paid), my car cut off at a light 😭. We finally figured that my car was constantly leaking oil. The drip pan was bolted too tight and it was damaged. After fixing that my car runs ok, but when I drive long distances, the check light definitely cuts on, and the motor sounds a little louder. But once sitting for a while the car will return to norm. I was told to try fixing the spark plugs. I love my car! But I wanna know why she doesn’t love me back.

    try throwin high end oil in it. German cars need hella care bc they sensitive af. High end oil for it will possibly make it run better and even though high end oil is more expensive its better than killing the enfgjn

    Hey bud the manual tranny with the clutch makes this car. It is a blast to drive and you can really make the turbo scream. 2nd and 3rd gear are surprisingly swift and responsive. The wider lower chassis really benefits from the clutch on the cornering, it’s a blast and the original corvette tires really grip the road. For the cheap price, the looks and performance is a blast!!

    That's my exact experience since becoming an owner of a 2011 CC Sport this spring. Only mine has an automatic, but the sport manual shift mode is super tight and with sport-tuned Cat-back exhaust (Becker, Germany) she really has a nice tone when working through the gears at higher rpm's.

    Great vid. I own the 2011 CC with the 2.0T, got it for around $8,000 with 100,000 miles on the clock. Could’ve got a better price, but I’d been eyeing this car for a while. It’s turned out to be a great car for modding. Body style is incredible, feels refined, and handles pretty well. My only complaint would be the engineered turbo lag and the abundant lack of information when it comes to modding these early CC models. Converting mine from halogens to HID’s has turned out to be an ordeal. Could’ve bought a 2013 R-line, but the small used dealership I was buying from didn’t have it inspected yet, thus, it was not for sale. Only things I would point out in your vid is: Putting 20’s on a CC is a pain, the highest you’ll typically find are 18-19’s. They usually come with 17’s. The CC also comes stock with fish-bowl windows. They’ll almost always need to be tinted from the base model.

I'm surprised being a hunter that you would want a car with low ground clearance. This is one thing I don't like about my car and sometimes wish I had bought a truck! I'm always hitting things underneath especially when it snows.

    S for the shift is for the car to go into sport mode. It keeps the rpm's up so you have tge power of the turbo instantly

  • @MikeJones-we4sg

    @MikeJones-we4sg

    3 жыл бұрын

    Not really. Read your owner's manual. Sport Shift mode/position merely delays shifts between gears to the "max recommended safe rpm" (around 6500) between gears. The "turbo lag" is always present with these motors. There's not really any getting around that. This doesn't burn rubber on the line, but after you get a little speed/rpm's up, then they break traction and start to spin. Kinda strange actually. But still a ton of fun when once you're rolling. This isn't your typical sprinter car, but really excels at road course combination of curves and straights (hills are fun too), not off the line starts such as the drag strip.

When the salesman told you the check engine light was a $30 fix, you should have (NEXT TIME) reach your pocket to hand him $30 dollars and say, "FIX IT". I have a 2012 CC 2.0 tsi. Simply the single worst mistake I have ever made in my entire life. Warning to anyone who gets lured in by its beauty......you will need to create a budget outside your car pymt in order to keep it functioning at a basic minimum on every level. This model will leave you on the side of the rd with regularity so I also recommend AAA. Mine blew through the following EGR. ABS MODULES. TIMING CHAIN. TIMING CHAIN GASKET......6.MONTHS AFTER THE TIMING CHAIN SO IT WAS AN ENTIRELY DIFFERENT REPAIR. SECONDARY AIR INJECTION PUMP. SECONDARY SWITCH VALVE SENSOR. DIVERTER VALVE. SOLENOIDS . SPARK PLUGS. AND 1 YEAR OLD BATTERY. IT CURRENTLY SITS IN MY DRIVEWAY NOW BECAUSE IT NEEDS A NEW CATALYTIC CONVERTER DIRECT MOUNT SYSTEM 1958.00 INSTALLED TOTAL MONETARY LOSS SINCE 2018 5 K. I refuse to get it repaired as it is now of a war of attrition. I am buying a new car this week and intend to make a KZread video of when I take this beautiful bastard to a salvage yard and have all the fluids drained and immediately sent into a shredder. Not parted out Not traded in Completely and utterly removed from existence. BUY AT YOUR OWN PERIL

    That can and does happen to a lot of engines, but this engine by Audi/VW is notorious for it. The Timing Chain fails ofc, but the root cause is most often a poorly engineered chain tensioner. They've gone through several upgrades to that part, and as mentioned in here, they may even be covering the earlier generation failures via lawsuit against VW. Look into it.

    Oh wow. 3800 is a good price. What year? Mine is 2012 and it had 100k miles on it. We paid about 6k for it. It did have a few problems though. It had a oil leak (didn’t find that out until after the purchase) and the digital speed is not accurate. Also I can’t access the Bluetooth, because there is a password. And my mom still hasn’t contacted the people who were the previous owners what the password was.

Maf sensor Fuel pump Overheating, had to replace electric fan, Water pump, Oil pump sensor. But it's great on gas and and drives great on the highway.

    Every German car is going to be expensive, it gets more expensive when you have a luxury model, and that's what the Passat, CC and Arteon are, money pits and expensive to mantain, it gets good life if and only if you bother to take care of it, the thing is, if you get it used, you depend on the previous owner care, if he didn't then you are the one who is going to lose money at the end, if you are going to have it for a long time, is worth it.
