2011... I made the decision to sit out that season. I had heart valve replacement in August of that year. I had just enough deer meat in the freezer to get by. In 2012, I was locked and cocked again. Put 2 does and a buck in the freezer before Thanksgiving. It's a blessing to be able to hunt again!

Your group sure does great film work. I have enjoyed watching several of your videos! I especially like that you don't add in music. Its nice to hear the woods or just the people around you. I think the way that most professional hunters edit that in just takes away from the hunt. Keep up the good work!

Great video. As a lifelong PA hunter who now is going to school in Michigan, I greatly miss spending time at camp and going out in the woods. Can't wait til late season flintlock comes in. I personally prefer that to rifle season anyways, less people to deal with. Also, there is just something special about harvesting deer with a flintlock.

Hey, just watchin some more of your videos and noticed that the big 9 with the split beam and the big 12 from the previous season, taken by Pat Ruby, has very similar split beam, even on the same side. Were they taken out of the same area? Possible offspring of the big 12 or another older buck spawning both. 2 generations of hunters taken 2 generations of nice whitetails. Might not be the case, just my observation.

After watching this video like a bunch of times, I kind of realized that Ron's buck was probably the offspring of Kale's. Those curved brows are a dead giveaway. Do you know if that monster passed his amazing genes on to any other ones that are around today? Shouldn't he be much bigger at 4.5 than that. He should be 150 or something, but he was probably injured. Either way Buck of a Lifetime. My cousin got one similar with the muzleloader here in NJ last year but it scored in the high 120s
