I remember this when I was 10, my family was too poor to get the bigger sets but I still loved the smaller sets when we could afford them

I am actually glad this theme was short lived never liked it I love legos other space themes that are a different universe from this one like mars mission space police and galaxy squad even Star Wars.

I want these sets back, all the minifigs were great. The sets were fabulous. And these shorts were pretty interesting. I only had the ufo set which was a great set. I have no idea why they discontinued it.

I remember this being more badass

I got to say it. Best idea for a lego set ever done by lego.

Yup. I didn't notice it back then but now that I played the games it's pretty obvious that this takes pretty much all it's inspiration from X-Com. That also explains how it got so dark for a Lego theme.
