Hit the nail on the head. Just R&R'd my subframe to swap trans and no start. Thought I'd plugged in firmly to the ABS module only to find out both plastic pins had broken in the connector, stopping me from inserting completely. Thank you!

Thank you so much for this video. I did a full timing chains job on this 2013 Acadia and i had the same issue. No communication with ECM/ TCM/ ABS. I unplugged and plugged back many connectors to no avail. When i came looking for ideas, i found you video and that connector was simply not pushed in fully. Once i corrected it, the vehicle fired right up. Thanks again brother.

Got one in the shop now with the same problem. Ours came in with the traction and abs lights on, tech removed the air box to test continuity and then the car wouldnt start. No communication with the pcm, code co121 coo73 hatch doesn’t work and no box around the park indicator. If any of the communication lines go open these suv’s leave you stranded or the technician frustrated. Chevy Impala uses the same setup. One Christmas light goes out the whole tree goes dark that’s how these data bus systems work. The hard part is getting the customer to understand the time involved in finding the loose connection somewhere whether under the passenger seat or at the EBCM. Good video pointing out a common issue.

Thanks for the comment,It is hard to make customers to understand that when its electrical problems we never know how long is going to be to solve the nitemare,make sure your connector to de ABS MODULE makes good connection on my case it was the problem,I replaced just the plastic part, transfer wire by wire and problem solved,Good luck fixing yours.

You ever figure out the issue? Same thing for me on a 2010 gmc acadia. Traction control light on, no[] around park on dash and wouldnt crank. Disconnected the negative battery and it signifies its in park and will start.

Same my problem now, check all fuses and relays on fuse box,all good, change starter because it's burn,then wirings harness all good rotation and condition,but still won't work, but today I watch your videos, this helps me a lot to check all connection electrical.thank you.

Mr. Juan Su video fue muy util para mi. You save me from calling the tow truck and getting ripped off from the dealer. I also have a 2011 Acadia. Mi problema era el mismo. It wouldn't start or crank. Just a tick sound. I checked all connectors just like u described in ur video. (The ABS module/ Engine Module/ and all other connectors that I thought it could help) I cleaned all of them with QD Electronic Cleaner and boom! Car has been starting ever since. Muchas gracias don Juan. Ojala siga poniendo videos de este carro. Por medio de KZread ya le e compuesto las brekas y cambio de aceite. Cosas menores. Pero cuando se trata de cosas grandes.. prefiero llevarlo al mecanico. Al menos que yo pueda.. yo lo haria.

I have the same issue. Just replaced those intricate timing chains on a 2009 Traverse 3.6. What a nightmare. I dropped the subframe, easier than trying to do in frame. Now it won't start. Doing same thing this Acadia is doing. Currently trying to figure it out. Thank you for the video, great job.

@@cjuanchy I did the same, dropped the subframe. Took me longer than 22 hours. I'd not done one before. Engine now sounds fine, just have to take care of a code p2176 that won't go away. 'Throttle adaptation- idle not learned.' I dont have a fancy scan tool to do an idle relearn. Tried a procedure i found online but so far hasn't worked. Its the only code I have, too. I should mention the throttle body harness is held on by a zip tie as someone broke the clip on it before it came to me. I tried cleaning the throttle blade but still no luck. Maybe tomorrow will be better.

Aquí les dejo mi testimonio 👉🏼 bueno yó tengo un GMC ACADIA 2008 y me empezó a marcar (check engine) el Mecanico le puso la computadora y me marcó 2 códigos (p0014 & p0391) el punto es q me dijo q ivan a tener q sacar el motor para poder arreglar ese problema y por ese trabajo sería de $2’200.00 a $2’500.00 y como a mí se me hizo una cantidad súper alta pues no podía creer lo q me decía el mecánico, así q empeze a buscar más información sobre ese problema y empeze a mirar vídeos en KZread y de un vídeo a otro me llevo aquí! Y pues yó lo veo como cosa De Dios x q Gracias a este vídeo me pude poner en contacto con está gran persona q sin dudarlo me ayudo y bueno resultó q a mi carro solo le faltaba aceite y pues sí después de ponerle aceite mi carro sigue corriendo normal. Así q de ir a pagar como $2’200.00 + solo resulte pagando $55.00 y todo gracias a esta persona q es tan humilde. Gracias 🙏 por ser tan humilde que Dios le regrese todos sus favores en bendiciones. Súper agradecida con usted! 🙏

@@joseavelarlugo8873 Si fuese la bateria baja ,cuando le pases corriente deja que se cargue un ratito antes de intentar prenderla,de lo contrario puedes ahogarla y se te complicará prenderla.

Sadly here in my town I don’t know of a mechanic that isn’t a crook. And the only honest one we had retired!! I have been doing a lot of repairs myself to save me big bucks. The last time I had my car in the mechanic said I needed new struts on the front and rear. What he didn’t realize was that I changed them myself no more than a year and a half ago! He got busted trying to rip me off. I won’t ever go back. Sadly his dad used to be honest. Guess he didn’t teach his son that trait.

I pulled the starter, motor mount and bracket, installed new starter and bracket and mount. Same thing, no crank, no start, defenantly gonna check this tomorrow.

Tarda en ensender solo da marcha y cuando prende al meter el cambio lo mete muy agresivo da el tiron bien fuerte para delante y en reversa , pero para delante si da el tiron agresivo y al avanzar esta todo devil sin fuerza le acelero bastante y avanza muy poco...el escaner me marca sensor de arbol de levas banco 1... El caso es que ase 7 meses me isoblo mismo . fui con un electrico y me dijo que era la transmisión que el me lo arreglaba pero era trabajo caro y lo arregle 7mil pesos me cobro como 340 dolares .. El electricio me dio 2 meses de garantia y todo muy bien hasta el dia de hoy volvio a fallar igual con los mismos sintomas.. Alguna recomendacion amigo que me pueda dar e escuchado q esas transmisiones son muy defectuosas lo que pasa que tengo muchos años con este carrito lo traje de Wisconsin ase 10 años tiene ya 280000 millas . creo tener 2 obciones ir de vuelta con el electrico y que me diga si asi ba a estar fallando porq no me conviene es mucho dinero para q lo este asiendo muy rapido y la otra seria ir a un yonke y buscar la misma transmision..... Si me pudiera alludar con alguna recomendacion se agredeseria muchisimo hermano

No its older video but got one at the car lot I work at and we pulled it in the shop yesterday and drove it around then this checked all fuses and has a good battery so will definitely try this tomorrow when I get to work

There’s water on the fuse box behind the glove box from the sunroof because the drains are clogged on the driver and passenger side pillars; or there’s water on the floor because the air conditioning drain plug is clogged on the floor board behind the middle console panel by the gas pedal.

Have the same problem.. my 2012 acadia didn’t start suddenly 2 months ago and replaced the starter then everything worked. About 2 weeks ago the car started playing again, it gives me a ticking noise and it wont start until i just keep trying to start it like tick tick tick then it starts. And now it wont even start, i try starting and nothing happens and everything shuts off and then there is no power and i cant even get the key out.

The Key doest come out because the Battery is Death,it sounds like your problen is your Battery,Charge your Battery or Replace it for a New one,and we go from there,let me know after that.

cjuanchy yes indeed you were right, the positive cable was loose and even the battery cover bolts were not tightened. It was due to the last maintenance i did when my mechanic replaced my alternator. I went back to him and told him that so that he would be more careful again

Is it possible to replace the ABS Harness Connector? If so...do you have a part number?

I have a gmc acadia 2011 slt, i tried to start the engine with the fob for the first time today and then i noticed 2 times my car was struggling to turn on the 3rd or.4th time it just wouldnt start but i was also trying to change the radio system yesterday not sure if i messed something up. My battery has died before and it would usually tell me it was the battery in the dashboard...waiting to get thw battery jump started if its not that ill try this video :(

I tried it but it still didn't work, I noticed that the gas indicator ok this video didn't show any gas and when he fixed it, it did work so I'm guessing mines is another problem cause the gas indicator on mine is working but I cant get it to work yet

theres a certain amount of times you can disconnect connectors with gm vehicles after that you develop lose terminal tension

09 Acadia New battery, new starter, solenoid clicks no crank no start. Rear hatch not working. Remote start nothing. Should I be looking at this harness?

If it clicks it sound like a bad connection, did you check for 12 V at tick cable on starter,all time, and 12 V on thin wire at solenoid on starter at start ?

I will check that. I know right now battery is down to 11.4 same out at the fuse box. Before this happened it ran rough for about 30 seconds then stalled then wouldn’t crank. Put new starter in made tight connections but I understand what you’re saying just not 12v getting down there probably. I’ll check voltage later today. Thanks!

Also can you check for codes on all modules posible please and address them.

Had a similar problem and it was a loose battery cable after battery replacement. Didn't happen right away but a few months later.

Mine just started doing this, weeks prior I notice I would turn my car off and the fan would still be running which it never did before and the temp gauge would go up about 10° and when we came to a stop at a stop sign or stop light only the dash said service break system but how did you fix it❓

Thanks for watching, at my case ,it was the connector at the ABS MODULE , There is been followers that they had bring their trucks and turn on to be the ground splice by the power steering pump.

I have an Acadia 2008 and the gages for temperature and gas go off and traction off appears and the U100 code is showed. After this, my truck no crack or not start. It this issue related to this connector?

Hola, en todos los casos deben escamear todos los modulos aver cuantos dicen con que modulo no se pueden comunicar si gusta pueden envuarme en un correo electrónico un numero a donde comunicarme y de que parte es ese número porque aveces pasa que los numeros telefonicos son de México. U otro país.

Yo tengo una GMC Acadia le cambiaron el motor xk el primero dicen que estaba malo con el primero no ensendia y con el segundo igual le cambiaron un modulo del fuel systems y nada el carro si ase crank pero no ensiende si ai gas y corriente en las bujias pero no ensiende y ya no saben k aser talvez me puede ayudar con este problema gracias x su videos

You have to lock the hood the doors lock the door until you hit a horn beep then press remote start that's 12 the alarm activates once you disconnect the alarm the battery from the car if you disconnect the battery or you turn off any power you close the doors and touch the log by in the alarm activate its automatically causing the car not to start

I have a 2009 gmc acdia just did the cats on it and now I have to fix up the Computer model for the motor and module for gas

My enclave is giving me the same problem. No crank, no start, and the tailgate doesn't open. At first, I thought it was the starter. I replaced it, same issue. I'll try these steps and see if that would solve the issue. Thanks

2009 Buck enclave. Wife barely drove it home. Wouldn't start for me. Had a bunch of crank cam codes. Had been clacking at startup for 6 months. Was gonna change sensor. Messed with discord. Unhooked battery for 4 months. Key stick in on position. Read to wiggle screws on fuse box. Now it gets power. When I try starting check engine light blinks super fast and the just a click. I swapped relays around and thought I checked all fuses.... Help I just wanna get it back to point where it tries turning over...

What is the part called and what is the fix I’m having issues understanding details

Make sure all your grounds are good before replacing the ABS MODULE HARNESS CONNECTOR, (the plastic part only).

Nos acaba de pasar eso aun no la revisan en el dealer, pero no enciende nada del tablero , tiene pila nueva. Sera el.mismo problema?

I have a 2011 Chevy Traverse will crank no start. With these codes. Can't afford to send it to dealer any ideas on how to get it running again Carnal? I've changed the ignition coils and spark plugs already. P050A- Cold start idle control P0300- Coil misfire P030L P0304 P0305 P0306 Notes: Front engine mounts warn. Refer to dealer motor mounts have a lot of play and there is an electrical issue leaking to odd bank injector harness.

Sound like you have electrical problems for what you said on the notes,you should check for broked wires on the harness at times animals go in the engine compartment and eat the wires,if not let me know.

I have had a same problem after replaced valve cover gaskets. No cranking. I checked and reconnected all connectors. I also applied same steps by turning the ignition key on without engine running, then wiggle each cable for any sound. I found a clicking sound on the relay switch in the fuse box. It turned out the cable runs under into the bottom of the fuse box, somehow was loosen as I once attempted to remove the fuse box but changed my mind. The two bolts inside the fuse box are loosen contact with the cable.

Hi Thanks for the tip,just as correction those bolts at the fuse box they tight till certain point,and then acts like broked treads and start tighten again its a save to avoid any Damage to the Fuse Box and Harness Connectors,careful when you tighten,you may had a bad connection but its real good tip,It should help more people ,THANKS.

Yes, you're right. As I tried to unscrew, the bolts did not go out, so I left the fuse box there while continue to remove other parts. Then I just forgot about these bolts after I was done with the valve cover gasket job. Like you mentioned, these bolts would not be tighten. They will return back to be loosen like broken threads. So, I was bewared of that and just tight them to certain point then stop. Thanks

Hi Liz it dont matter English or Español la parte no es de Dealer de Chevy es de aftermarket y yo solo la pedi como ABS MODULE HARNESS CONNECTOR the plastic part,y tienes transferir alambre por alambre

Buena's compadre... Thank you for your consideration but I finally fixed my no communication problem, turns out it was a fuse🫤 I missed while checking them.. door lock fuse 15a fuse under compartment passenger feet.
