That could be one way of using it however I think that the majority of people would have more than just the car key on a key ring so I’m not sure how practical that would be and it’s also good that you can actually have the keys in your pocket at all times, also I think that’s where normally the dreaded electronic handbrake would be located so they had to use the space somehow I guess.

Showing battery not detected Or change battery replacement battery in both keys stop start

All sorted now, I replaced the battery in the key and that message went away.
