I have this exact same 2011 car and it is terrific. You dont need 4 wheel drive in my opinion unless you live in snow country. Use the correct gas and approved spec oil. This year was great because it has the straight 6 engine and NO turbo. This was the only year for this model and engine. I will never sell mine.

@@ntwalipat2 Nothing is made for longevity. Just take care of it, dont abuse it. Most people are gas/brake /gas /brake. They have to be the first one to arrive at the stop light. Very difficult to change people's bad driving habits. They constantly beat the crap out of their cars. cheap gas/cheap oil and no maintenance schedule. they never read their owners manual. I see it all the time. Then they blame the car when it costs them money.

@@raybutts9133 That’s true! People tend to cheap out on their vehicles when everything seems to be going fine! BMW’s in particular are meant to be performance vehicles, so anybody buying one is usually trying to enjoy it to the max! The brand also seems to attract a lotta young drivers, who may tend to cut-corners when it comes to maintenance! However, BMW seems to also cheap out by utilizing a lot of plastic in the engine bay, knowing well that people will be pushing their vehicles to their limits! They’ve unfortunately become notorious for oil leaks due to that reason!

0-60 mph in 6.4 seconds is not fast. You are right. It is QUICK! Do you know the difference? Oil leaks? Sure, if you don't do maintenance. The thing about major repairs is that you only have to do them once every five years or more. I agree with you about black interiors. Center armrest is an improvement over the E39. Anything but a turbo, thank you.

Yes you should buy one I got one two years ago for 7k 2011 f10 all black 528i perfect condition 95k miles it now has 148k miles never one problem and it now makes 516whp and surprise everyone

I have the same car I would say the 535 is more of the sweet spot as it’s reliability isn’t too bad the 11 528 is a solid piece it has almost no problems but I most definitely wouldn’t say the 550 isn’t much faster as even the 535 is far quicker and the 550 is a whole different game that car is indeed fast

@@andrewnunnes i think 550i is v8, 550d is the same as 535d a v6, 535i 528i from f11 are the same exept 1 Turbo and software and meybe some parts different for that extra 60hp

The 2011 528i is the best bmw ever New body but still got the natural 6 cylinder tough engine 2012 and up the put the 4 cylinder piece of shit in it

Not like the previous 6 cylinder. The main issue with this engine is oil pump, and chain is getting stretched, sometimes turbo , I've been told that is preventable with good maintenance and quality oil and filters ..

inline 6 with turbo will be 535i, Inline 6 N/a 523i, Inline 4 with turbo, 520i and 528i (with higher HP)

BMW’s don’t make v6’s they make inline 6’s and u are right about the n20 engines but they fixed their timing chain issues in 2015 so everything past 2015 was ok
