Bro, I am watching this at work and I literally slapped my own forehead super loud when that breaker bar snapped like a chopstick. I was not aware our si’s had this issue…just ordered an nst kit. There's a special socket just for Honda crank pulley bolts. With an impact, it pops right out. The socket is key here, but hey it came out lol

I broke my breaker too just like you did. I should have lowered it, so the breaker would be on the ground instead of hiting the control arm. I'm going to use your method tomorrow after I buy a stronger breaker bar. Thank you for showing us this! Super helpful!

Just the video I was looking for. I have a vibration that may also be caused by a worn crank pulley/harmonic balancer. Glad you included the before & after sound the engine was making. Good to know in advance that that pulley bolt may break some tools!

You're Welcome! I am glad the video helped! Yes! You can try my method that I use to unloosen the bolt.. After that crank, idler and tension pulley is replace the car sounds new again and a lot more quiet

After replace that pulley seal ..it start to do a chirping noise.. do you think is a bad cranck pulley .cus ac compresor is ok water pump tensioner and power stering they ok ... but chirping nois comes from cranck pulley..

@@EvilStreetShark No, that's the rear main. I was referring to the front main under the harmonic balancer. I guess if yours wasn't leaking, no harm no foul.

Those craftsmans breaker bars are crap. Gotta go with a snap on or any other industrial brand like matco or mac. The tools night be pricey but unless superman himself torqued a bolt, a snap on snaping off is highly unlinkely
