In this video I go over the procedure to change the drive belt in your 2011-2019 Wildcat 1000 and the 4x is the same. If you have a Wildcat XX you have a different procedure to follow. This how to "should" apply to most Wildcats but all 1000's for sure.
Tools needed:
New Belt: Factory Belt Number: 0823-496
19mm Socket / Wrench
Torx bit to remove belt cover

You showed nothing in terms of actually changing the belt. You cut away with the old one on and back in with the new one on and everything assembled. Nice try but not much help
Could you go over changing the plugs please?
Why is marking the cover with an "X" to realign necessary? What happens if you put it on 180 degrees off?
I got a wildcat 2012. How do I know if I have a wet or dry clutch? They changed midyear. It has a silver cover on it

When your belt broke did you start hearing a knocking sound and burning rubber?

I had the burning rubber smell for a little bit but mine actually locked up the engine and clutch.... Didn't snap... It was weird, it got all wrapped up and made everything stop

Yes, it broke on me when the belt seized up and I tried to force it in gear to get it off the side of a hill

Yes!! Do not put those bolts back in super tight OR you may have a very bad day...😂😅
