    That bolt just came out and went back in smoothly. Mine I had to unscrew it all the way until the end and then thread it all the way back in when I did the new ones. Other than that the installation was relatively easy, so thank you for that

    It depends on the brand you get. Some brands come pre greased and some have fittings so you can grease them

    Thought you need to pre load your suspension and torque to specs without using an impact wrench

    Goofed up cause you didn't torque while the suspension was loaded. That bushing will twist when lowered causing premature failure.

    @@Davethemechanic305 just letting you know, per the manufacturers instructions you didn't pre load the suspension to torque. Any rubber bushing on a suspension system should be torqued under load

    Beat me to the comment. There's a great 3 minute video called Suspension Bushing Preload that everyone should watch before doing these kinds of jobs after watching KZreadrs with varying qualifications. Not trying to rip on this particular channel, but most of the instructional videos I've watched this weekend were done by people that didn't have a clue why they were getting the results they got and oblivious what the short term results would likely be. ie: Premature bushing wear from not preloading bushings whether they realize the damage potential or not.

    You fellas that do these videos on control arms never explain the problem that caused you to have to change them. That doesn't help us figure out if we need to change ours.

  • @Davethemechanic305

    @Davethemechanic305

    Well control arms are solid steel so it you have to replace one it's more than like the only part that can go bad the ball joints or composite bushings (if there is one). You will usually notice either noise or vibration when going over a certain speed or when the wheel is jacked off the ground the tire might have excessive play due to bad ball joint
