I really appreciate the detail you're able to capture with your camera. I was having trouble getting the clip back in place, even after watching this, but after seeing this I knew I was on the right track and just needed to keep on trying.

Last year I did this without watching a video first and it was tricky. Now I have to replace my low beams again and this video clears up how to do the fiddly part with the clip. Thanks!

I’m about to try it now. They tried to charge me $100 to do it. I’m about to be a mechanic for a day… and yes, changing headlights makes me a mechanic (tree shade)😜😜😜

Saved me probably about an hour of confusion. Driver’s side is a bit more difficult cause of accessibility issues, but still only took me like 10 minutes and it’s my first time doing it.

This is a great video. THANKS. Watching it gave me the confidence to swap out my halogen for LED. I've done before, just always forget. One small suggestion: when pointing to small places, like at the end when pointing to small hook for wire clamp, maybe try using just an ordinary pencil as a pointer. Works slick. Thanks again!

And here I thought it was gonna be difficult, but turns out was easy as heck! Great vid

Nice camera work and lighting! I would only add that one should not touch the glass part as oils from your finger can reduce the life of the bulb. You did not touch it but others might not know this.

I appreciate the attention you gave to it. I ended up using touch and feeling for the notch it should fit into, and voila! Easy peezy. Thanks!

I am a woman. At the dealership getting my recalls done. I need a right head lamp The service advisor tells me it’s about $80. I’ve replaced it before but I had a garage and it’s raining today- really hard! Bought the $30 bulb. Watched your amazing and thorough video heading to the mall parking garage after I leave here! Never underestimate a customer’s understanding of “fair and reasonable”! Thanks to you, it’s easier than I remember! Saved myself $50!

Next time, do not buy the bulb at the dealership. Auto parts store is about $10 to $14 for original type.

Thanks for this video, I was trying to take pin/clip off first and then take the blub out and take the plug off. I could never put the clip back on properly, it's hard to see and upsidedown. This video clears up everything! Thanks again!

This really helped me, with a VW Jetta 2012 model actually. So I think someone retrofitted an after market wiring harness for the driver side. Passenger side is like all other VW videos just twist and pull.

I would have figured this out - I've done it before - but it is so nice to go out to the car knowing EXACTLY what I need to do. Many thanks!

Thank you so much for this video! One note: in my 2009 Sonata, there was a little button on the side of the black connector plug that had to be depressed in order to pull it out. So it didn't pull straight out until you pushed the small button on the side of the plug. Thanks again!

I wish I had watched this first! I removed the screw and the spring clip went flying. I had to study the good side to see how to hook the retaining spring clip back in place.
