Lol, suppression. I'm an older guy now, back in the 80s & 90s 😅when we were big into car audio. Some of the cheap builds had horrendous suppression whine. All they had to do was upgrade the earth cable from the alternator to the battery. Basically the "big 3 upgrade". The bliss of ignorance. 😅

Well, its not obnoxious.

Would be just noise unless they ran new pipes from cat back.

It sounds slightly better than the Weedwhacker

I got mixed feelings. It sounded good at mid rev. High rev reminds me of a kid with a tuba

I have a Scion xB with the same engine. My xB has a muffler delete and a glass pack in place of the resonator. The current setup on my xB drones around 1,500 & 3,000 rpm. I think a muffler delete is all that is needed or something that would keep the car from droning in place of the resonator.

With this vehicle if you aren't starting at the XRS with a manual transmission then just leave it alone.
