I have had the front of my 2010 lift in 3rd at about 120mph. Even with my fat 210lb arse. I have the ECUnleashed flash, airbox mod (only needed for US models) 3/4 exhaust. My bike now starts in the a-mode but gone is the harsh "twitchyness". My bike went from 149hp to 168hp without spending alot of money. Then I went -1 on the front sproket and now it's a missle. Lost about 8-10mph up top but I dont notice it. Ride safe.

my 2006 R1 would only power it up without clutch in 1st if i chopped the throttle than whipped it back open. Is the newer motor that much more responsive with the computer?? Im assuming 1st gear pulls up the front wheel with a moderate roll-on?? im considering getting a newer r1.

change your gearing and she ll wheelie in every gear
