2010 Mazda3 Front Shock Replacement - How to

This video shows the process of replacing a front shock assembly on a 2010 Mazda3 Grand Touring. The shocks on these cars wear out fairly quickly and replacing them yourself can save you. Springs or shocks can be replaced individually, but it is more cost-effective and much easier to replace the assembly as a whole.
Tools needed:
- Floor jack and jack stand
- Socket wrench
- 13mm socket
- 17mm socket
- 21mm socket
- 5mm Allen Key Socket
- 14mm wrench
- Hammer (4 lb preferred)
- Breaker bar or pipe to place over socket wrench handle
- Torque wrench
Parts Needed:
- New shock assembly
- New Shock Hardware (optional)
- Anti-seize (optional but preferred)
- New sway-bar end link (usually not needed, but occasionally these become stripped out and must be cut off and replaced)
