For photo, I shoot RAW and color grade myself using my own presets. For video, I use a custom profile I made using PP2 but with adjustments :D

I don't understand the concept of buying a 2k camera and cheap lens? Can someone explain? For the pictures to then look "old". Why not buy a fuji xt2

In the world of vintage lenses, old and cheap does not mean that they are not good. There are actually some minolta lenses that are going for 500+ because they are fast primes that are really sought after. The same goes for older Nikon and Leica lenses. If you watched the video you can see that the photos are exceptionally sharp. They don’t give the photos an “old” look. The better word would be a softer look, which is why people put diffusion filters like pro mist and cinebloom on their GM and sigma lenses. I have lenses from the sigma dg dn series that are really nice, but from time to time I want to shoot a lenses that is less clinical and only manual focus. But I never bought the a7cii to only put old lenses on it. It’s just another fun way to experience your camera. Hope that helps :)

@@theBaron001 no way! Xt2 is amazing! My point is, it actually has a “vintage” look. I’ve had the xt1 and Xt2. My point is. I see a lot of people buying high end hybrid cameras for a vintage look..instead of buying film or old cameras lol Hey! I’m a no body, just giving my opinion! Which ultimately doesn’t matter 👍

Hey Matt. Yeah it’s a bit of a challenge at times but I was able to nail focus almost 98% of the time because of two things. The first is I sold my digital camera a while back and shot strictly film for over 6 months, so all I did was manual focus. The second thing is the focus peaking is really good on the Sony. Some say it’s too slow but I’ve set my buttons up in such a way where it’s pretty quick. If you’re interested in a video like that I can make one. Cheers mate 🙏🏻

Haha yeah bro pretty wild for street. I bet though if I took this thing to NYC I could probably make some nice comps. It honestly just makes you think differently, and that alone rewires your brain for the better. Throw manual focus into that mix and now you’re definitely making your brain do some serious gymnastics haha.
