Sounds so badass, but rip to her beautiful lower unit. Not to mention I’m sure the engine internals would appreciate some kind of a load as well😂😂

The engine is fine, we already have more than 100 hours.
Would not want to be the person that buys that motor used.

I wouldn’t rev it like that with no load. Nothing to keep the revs from going up so fast they go past the limiter. It happens a lot on inboard race boats when they jump out of the water.
Bouncing off the rev limeter on an unloaded motor is not a good idea.

They sure look better with the cover off. Sounds great. I fish a Wed. nighter tournamnet with a shotgun blast start and there has been many boats with that motor but 250's. My 225 Evinrude G2 kicks they're ass for the first mile then they finally catch up slowly. I'm running mine on an old 03 Ranger 520 hull when most of em are running brand new Phoenix's. There's one guy really pissed I beat him to the 5 mph buoy line everytime and get the best spot to fish. F-him.

Now we know you ain't out running no body in a ranger 520.... a 150 powered tracker 190 will keep up with it..... Ranger ain't never made a fast boat...
I would be alittle upset that my v8 outboard makes the same 200hp as a v6 evinrude thats made in the 70s

FYI never run your outboard in gear at high RPM out of water. Very easily could have destroyed your 20k motor son

On rev limiter under a load (in water) is different than hitting rev limiter out of the water or in nuetral. Valve train doesnt like this. It sounds gnarly though 😁
dude videoing apparently has never heard of a prop slinging a blade!!! Come out looking like fruit ninja got ahold of you.
