Quality is not the best because...well most of these pictures were probably taken with a potato.
Here are pictures of my loft and pigeons back in 2009 when I first got started in the hobby. I was only in the hobby for about 1.5 years until my parents decided to sell the house and move.
I was unable to keep the birds as I was in college at the time and had to move into an apartment. All of my supplies and birds got rehomed to my friend Steve who was fresh into the hobby of keeping Birmingham Rollers.
This loft took me about 1 month to build alone and required multiple trips to the hardware/lumber store. The total cost was probably close to $500. If I could go back I would have made it taller from the start. I was thinking 4.5ft would be sufficient as I would not be spending a lot of time inside. This however became a problem when I had to go inside to clean or catch the birds.

Age is just a number. The birds won't discriminate. Keep your loft clean with proper ventilation so it's good for both you and the birds 👍. Thanks for watching Adrian.
Wow, awesome job, anyone who saw it would say it was built by a Pro!! Outstanding buddy
Looks like you need to get back in the hobby. Lot’s of beautiful birds to pick from and Birmingham rollers are some of the best to keep 👍 The NBRC welcomes you look for the group on Facebook

Happy it helped. Imo pretty straightforward but if you have any questions feel free to ask. I would just add a divider down the middle to seperate the males and females in the winter. Or simply seperate 2 diff types of pigeon species etc.
Really great job you did

Easy build. Dimensions 8’ x 4’ x 6’
hi how cold does it get where you are ? is the metal mesh ok for the birds legs in winter time ? how do you deal with water on the cages ?

Healthy pigeons can handle cold temperatures. Fanciers like to feed extra corn in the winter to help the birds stay warm. Also make sure there is no drafts of cold air blowing into the loft or near where they perch. In the NE USA here it can get down to the negatives F. The winters tend to vary.
I would love u to build me one like that.
