Just got one today, will put it in for a Service and see what needs doing (and it will need something!) but prepared to chuck 'some' money it's way as it only cost me £750.00. We shall see! But yeah good fun!

@@leej4523 Yeah...I'm gutted, it needed a new Head Light Bulb for it's M O T, just about to give it a full service (about £80.00) it's been great, well chuffed!

@@leej4523 Your welcome Matey, it's very suitable for a first car, you should get a good one for 2.5K. Mine has got 130k on it and it did need a new front wheel bearing (about £50, that I knew about), that's probably why it was so cheap. I love driving it, and I'm a 6' 2" hefty Bloke! I got it as a 'second' car, as I'm doing up a Nissan Navara D22, and needed a 'runaround,' and it's been fine...no hassle. Also mines a Diesel and I get roughly 100 miles from £10 so 10p a Mile, which is not bad. Check that the roof works ok. If it's been well looked after (and you can usually tell) their a Great little Car. Good look Pal.

@@leej4523 I bought a 2009 Sport model a few months ago. It's a good first car, it sticks to the road, gives you a kick of acceleration when you need it (mine is the bottom line non-turbo petrol version) and it's fun to drive. I got mine for £1000 with 60k on the clock, got the price lowered as the roof didn't fold down and a few things were missing (spare wheel, wind deflector, manual, only one key). The roof just needed a new fuse (which costs 30p), so if you're feeling brave it can be worth looking around for cheaper models, and bring a mechanic with you to assess if a potential fault is an expensive repair or not. For a first car, I would highly recommend to avoid pristine cars anyway. New drivers make mistakes, and it will be easier on both yourself and the new driver if the car already had some light cosmetic damage, which will also lower the price (something you can haggle as well).

I have a similar car. Highly recommended.

Luso PT take the 308cc if you want bigger seats. This is a great car for a young couple with no kids and occasional need to drive a 3 or 4 persons on short jorney. The boot size is great for shopping too, maintenance is cheap and 1.6hdi is pretty economical

What is the point of those back seats! I’m going for the 307cc I got a large dog, just don’t see the point in making it a 4 seater when literal babies can only get in the back

I've had two small kids in the back of mine. They loved it. But the 307cc/308cc is a far better car for more than two people. Get the Auto if you can. 🙂

I bought one and boy it is sexy and fun.

@@manosdaimanolis9127 had been in accident then repaired. So was cheaper plus got off a friend. Sold it now but wasnt a bad little car only problem i had was with the roof mechanics over the 9 months i had the car. Just replaced with older 206 model 1999 with only 20,000 miles on clock £800 another bargain lol think because there french cars they go cheap in uk

@@iamwatching5743 I got a 2009 Sport with 60k on the clock for £1000 from a neighbour. The roof didn't fold down either. Turns out there was an incorrectly rated fuse on the circuit, putting in the right one and it works like a dream. That was a 30p repair that saved me £400 (the neighbour wanted £1400 initially).

I have one as my first car not bad but I will have to disagree with the plentey of performance 😂

I must be the only one here with this car and it's given me nothing but trouble and I have only had it for just over 2 years... My current fault my roof not working such a shame really because it is a nice looking car and drives nicely but anything electrical just one thing after another unfortunately.

@@naomigu8131 i think its just the luck of the draw for some people who get a car and finds its works really well and some get a car and its nothing but trouble... Yep mine unfortunately has been a real pain such a shame and its not even done that many mileage only just over 42,500 and since i have had it theirs been sensors problems, my windows got stuck and werent moving right in the summer and the ac also stopped working... The heat at one point wasnt coming into the car in the winter and currently the roof now is not working or it has something blocking it from moving, i need to find out more with that. I have had peugeots all my life so far and my first one was the best lol and that was only a 106, but it was old and everything started to seize up that was it but i had for quite a long time. My second a 206 had a gasket problem and after so long it went on fire under the bonnet and got written off (my mother took over that car from me as i got this one so it happened on her).... and this one has just been one thing after the other so far.... 😞 If your going to get one make sure it perhaps a newer model version mines an 07 plate so hopefully maybe it will still be in good nick....Like i said it drives nicely and looks lovely but anything electrical its not been the best not for me anyway! Im not trying to put anybody off im just saying from my own experience with this car, hopefully you will get a very good decent one! Good luck sweet x

@@hanmaria87 I own a 207cc since two months. The only problem right now is that the driver's window makes a lot of noise. It's a peugeot from 2010 with 84000km and it has a "new used" gear. I bought this car for 6000 EUR, so I'm prepared to spend another 1000. I love this car but let's see what happens...

Roof problems are common check the hydraulic fluid is topped up, theres also a chip that brakes alot
