I have a blue 2009 CRV just like that one. Mine is not a 4X4. It has been damn reliable. I still see these things every freaking where

I use to own a 2011 one for 2 years but we had it for 7 years bought it brand new it served us extremely well but unfortunately I lost it in 2019 to a car crash but it saved my life
Honda was so stupid on getting rid of the K24. It'll outlast any 1.5 turbo

Blame the emission reg and chasing the stupidest mpg chase

How bout them big boys putting turbo fours in full size trucks? That won't end badly????

@@vindarusurianam71 i've driven cars that are naturally aspirated and cars that have turbos there's barely any difference. My 2016 Mazda CX-5 with the 2.5 NA gets the same gas mileage as my friends 2018 Chevy equinox with the 1.6 turbo

Is not necessary stupid, there are a couple of reasons, 1st emissions and government taxes on engine size, 2nd fuel consumption, 3rd marketing, people now love small engines, car enthusiast don't, but average people do, and even more outside USA, they think that a smaller engine always has better fuel economy, but they don't know that a smaller engine is working harder and in general you have to push them more for them to keep up, and sometimes a bigger engine well driven can consume the same and maybe be more reliable because they are less stressed. But is the trend right now and Honda is no exception.
We just bought an 08 CRV LX the other day, and it's almost become my favorite vehicle yet
Mine is a 2009 top-of-the-line I love it still have it runs like a champ and I have 220,000 miles on it
I have a black 2007 exl and there are volume buttons on the steering wheel on it, love the engine and hydraulic steering btw
tumble out of bed and i stumble to the car review, pour myself another cup of Zack’s car review, and yawn and stretch and watch another car reviewwwww 🤠
These used to be everywhere. They always made me think of a soda can.
I learned a new one. "Desire Path" thanks brother.
if you can live with the fact that these k24's WILL consume oil, its an amazing engine in every capacity and is bulletproof as long as you check your oil and add as needed i have a 2010 CRV EX-L 4WD, and it's always burnt oil. oil changes every 3k miles or every 6 months, whichever came first. and it started burning oil after just 12k miles. Many other people i know with similar year range accords that have the k24 have similar issues.
Wow, I was in high school 20 years before you (1992-1996) and 2016 was my 20th class reunion
Cool, my Mom had a ice blue 2008 one, It was nice. AWD.🥰
Had a 1997, 2005 and this one was going to be my next one. Unfortunately gas got too expensive for commuting
‘Marbles? That’s on you!’ 😝 … It even LOOKS like a rock in a river bed! 😂 … Thank you for cool video.
I love Honda vehicles!! I will buy this Zack.
Thank you for pointing out aftermarket radio mistakes, don't replace radio's.
And I have to say that all those miles were put on buy yes, me bought it brand new and took good care of it
Can you do a video on your owners manuals collection?
Idea too powerful Must hide until the time is right
I see those in the north Texas area all the time!!!!!!!
transmission works so honda kept it. i like original radio after market equipment a fail.
When I buy a new car u always review it a month later (this is the matrix)

Those K seried engine are amazing!
This is an '09? It looks more dated. It's weird to see a dashboard shifter and a console that doesn't flow into the dashboard, almost as if it was supposed to be a bench seat. It's a purely functional car that will run forever. I see these clapped out but still running everywhere.
When did the oil dilution start ??

2018 with the 1.5 Turbo
daily'd one for about 2-3 months awd manual with the 2.2 diesel and 138hp, slowest thing i've probably ever driven tbh
Joji - Die For You ! Lol
5 speed auto in 2009 lol. Rav 4 was still in the stone age with the 4 speed hahaha
I remember my aunt had one from new one of the biggest pieces of trash I rode in, was a mechanical nightmare just poor quality everything

From what I see around here, Honda builds decent engines and bodies but weak suspensions and exhausts that rust out after a few years.
The start of crappy, ugly, and uninspiring crossovers. Many of these are the future unfortunately since so many people fell for the bait of buying these types of vehicles.
