It’s actually great reporters saying it was always William who discouraged negative leaking for other members. Harold did that himself via finding freedom and he denied they had anything to do with it until it was proven in the court that his wife send a detailed mail about what she wants in that book. As for William joking around in this clip, he also defends him but harold doesn’t do that for William, he only tries to humiliate him by calling bald

Normal sibling banter. William made Harry comfortable by saying he was coping well and better than him.

Speaking as a military person this is obvious banter. William was RAF and Harry was in the Army Air corps. The Army and RAF always have that brilliant banter. I served out in Afghanistan with Harry and he ended up as an Apache pilot. He ended up as a gunner- In the Apache, because he wasn't the best pilot, but he was and still is an amazing guy. William and Harry are both wonderful royals and the only two that I've ever liked. I found it funny about the comment about William being bald, because when I met William when I was doing my ground crew training I made a comment about his hair and he loved the banter! I hope the brothers can get on good terms in the future.

Despite going to one of the most expensive schools, Harry was reported to have had help cheating his exams, so I doubt he would have made being an officer if he wasn't in the royal family. Then in their attempt to fund their extravagant lifestyle, he turned out to be a Judas by selling secrets of the royal family, and Iran said Britain didn't have any right to stand up for human rights after Harry's claims.

Harry has cut out people from his life who’ve said far less about him in the press than Harry has said about William in his book. He knew what he was saying William would feel was an unforgivable breech of trust but he did it anyway. If Harry divorced and ends up in a mess I’m sure William will quietly look after him, but I doubt William will ever fully trust Harry again 😢

I think long before MM came on the scene, there were problems with H and the royal family. It's no secret he has wanted to get away from his royal life even long before he joined the army. Not that he minded the work royals do, but rather all the rules, restrictions and press intrusion that even when positive is not always welcome in one's private time. So even if H had not met MM he may have still found a way to get out if that life. It's very difficult for brothers to remain close when they moving in two opposite directions more and more as time goes by. It's very sad. But it's life.

Very sad that Harry sold his only brother, This is a betrayal that is really hard to digest, when trust is gone it is very hard or even sometimes never to get them back again.

Commoners are allowed and encouraged to “speak their truth” but this ONE family cannot? Cause it might make them look bad? Please. Their own actions make them look however it makes them look, not what they say about each other. “The royal family” wants everyone to think they are perfect and that is an ABSURD expectation. They’re great together. Strong brotherly relationship clearly evident. Give them a series together - flying around the nooks and crannies of Britain.

I see 2 brothers that genuinely enjoy being together here. So sad that Harry never smiles any more. He seems a completely different person since the grifter got her claws in him.

… if only the media would keep their mouth shut! Harry is still saying the same thing. But there is love that is displayed between them. They are on different path at the moment.

There’s obviously tension. I think they have a complicated relationship, like all siblings do. But there’s a lot of nuance of course. I don’t think it’s fair to paint one as some sort of villain and the other a some sort of martyr. I don’t think only one of them was instigating the rivalry (as harry wants the world to believe). I feel like they both were taking jabs at one another here in a way that seems like banter, but I can feel the tension under the surface, lol. Harry said in the book that he was upset that William mentioned the snoring and stuff, but he was constantly joking about how he’s better than William or about how being in the army is superior than being in the RAF, so it definitely goes both ways. I feel that in the same way that Harry grew up with a lot of complex emotions about the idea of being the “spare”, William also had a lot to deal with when it comes to understanding his role as the heir. And while I believe that there’s a lot that can be said about William (he’s probably stubborn, maybe overly critical at times, has insecurities as well, and probably has a terrible temper), I feel like Harry is too focused on his insecurities to take into consideration that William too has to deal with a lot of pressure. Harry casts aspersions, makes negative assumptions, and self-pities a lot. I can’t blame him though because it probably stems from his trauma. Although I felt that there were times in this interview when William got annoyed, I can also feel that he does care about his brother. As I said, there’s a lot of complexity and nuance.

You're underplaying William's personality. "Overly critical, terrible temper, insecure". That sounds very Narcissistic. He physically assaulted Harry last year, and the entire media normalised the physical assault. There's also a report that he had an affair with another woman, but the media seemed to bury that. (Remember his father had an affair, so it isn't all that uncommon). The most mysterious and under-scrutinised person in all this is..... William. His press team do a great job at deflecting bad stories about him. It's very very strange. He's the one that had a problem with Meghan, and didn't do hugs with her. William is .... a hidden bully.

@@Sonicade I would be very surprised if Harry had never physically fought with William before then. As the mother of three grown sons, they fight, it’s just the way they are. As for Meghan, William said Harry was rushing into it and he hasn’t been wrong about that, Meghan was not suitable to marry into the Royal family Harry definitely should have taken William’s advice. Why should he hug Meghan? Why should anyone accept a hug if they don’t want to? People, such as Meghan, should respect personal boundaries. William has always been brought up to accept responsibility, Harry was always allowed to do his own thing. William is not a bully, Meghan is the true bully in the family.

Very heartbreaking watching this - they just seem like regular brothers. Yes, they tease each other, but they have each other’s backs as well (especially William, who sticks up for Harry quite a bit).

The Dynamics changed between them I bet as they grew older. We know what Harry felt like as a spare, imagine how William feels as Future King? Queen Elizabeth put duty first. I can't imagine having to put duty first before all else. Can you? And wonder why the monarchy must be protected? I called Harry did betrayal. We're not supposed to judge, I choose to pray for them both. Both are good people who've been affected by being born into something. Look at the American children who have inherited wealth, many did not handle it well they couldn't establish their own identity easily. Yeah I'll choose to pray for them both.

Competitive but personal insults indicate a person has nothing relevant to the issue to say.

In his book Harry speaks about this exchange and criticises William. How sad and petty. This is a perfectly normal conversation and William appears very fond of Harry and complimentary to him. How different Harry is now! Really sad. 😢

I glad I found this video and stopped to read most comment like yours; now I’m questioning a lot of things Harry had said in his past interview before he became a husband; I specially recommend the AP 21 years old birthday interview of Harry, the part when they asked him about his relationship with William. Then after seeing that part, can you share your thoughts and sentiments about it, because I’m curious to hear what people who red his book think about what Harry told the media back then concerning his relationship with William. Thank you 😊

Prince William has that look on his face like he's saying, "Don't say anything overly stupid Harry." Prince William did all the work, can actually fly helicopters, & Prince William had to look after Harry as well. Harry has never seen combat & I don't believe Sparry even knows how to fly by the way he's talking about it in this video.🙄 Seriously, pilots do not talk about flying in this manner. I have a few family members who are pilots & they think Sparry sounds clueless about what he's talking about. Sparry getting in helicopters are PR stunts obviously. - Colorado, 🇺🇸

He never acknowledged that William talks him up, even take up the cudgels for him when he feels Harry will feel it a put down, saying that the question is "unfair to say that he's the high achieving older brother" and that Harry is just being modest. Harry knew he's the laggard and is constantly insecure about it. We're just seeing all this in the form of bitterness and vitriol that wasn't there before Meghan.

I agree 100%. I don't know why others don't. I have 3 brothers and this is how we behave towards each other. People are so soft and extra wussy and oversensitive nowadays. Today's children and adults would be total pushovers in my days.
