Yes, you can do it.

Fine sir I have 2013 bmw 7 series the inside headlight are to dirty do you know how can I open the headlight?

As I remember you need to fill 200ml less oil than required. Then start and let the engine work about 5 minutes. After the oil reach the oil cup and fill it - you add the rest 200ml.

Thank you for the video! Here's a question, I noticed at the dealership they use mobil 5w-30...is it safe to put a quart of a different brand when we get an error message that the oil needs to be topped off? Say there is mobil 5w-30 and we top it off with a quart of Castrol 5w-30?

You can use any type of oil, just sure that it high performance synthetic and euro formula or compatible with BMW. Castrol Pennzoil Shell Etc,.. 0w40 5w30 10w30 10w40 5w50 Etc,..

Is the oil change and oil amount the same for a 2011 740i?

Hi Francisco, great video! I have a 2009 730d and was planning to do an oil change next weekend. Your video is very helpful but slightly confused about the oil to use. My research showed I need to buy mobile1 5w30, however you seemed to be using Mobile1 0w40. I live in London, UK. Which one would be better for my car? Price difference between the two is immaterial, so I would like to get the best one possible. Thank you in advance!!

Depending on the weather conditions,you can use 0w40, 5w40 or 10w30, just buy diesel engine oil, check the bottle for the diesel engine oil label on it. 0W40 is almost for any weather conditions.

As you know, the crush-washer needs to be replaced every time the oil drain plug is removed .

+Juan C Gonzales Hello. Well, BMW recommends full synthetic engine oil and interval of 9,000 miles. I personally do the oil service to my BMW's every 5,000 miles so the oil is always like new inside the engine and this will prevent premature damage to the fiction components of the engine. Always use good brands like Castrol, mobil, Valvoline, shell, Pennzoil, etc,.. I always prefer to use mobil or Castrol 0w40.

Advice, BMW schedule is too long. A 2006 750 model I had ended up having valve stem leaks and therefore white smoke. Repair was quoted as 12k. So, 5000 mile is great.

Oil drain plug needs a NEW crush-washer every time,,, right ??

This is a snap on modis pro Scan tool, it cost around 3k. You can buy cheap one and good ones at Amazon or eBay.

Please don't use Mobil 1. It is not Synthetic in the US because the US's standards for oil classification of oil groups is much lower than than Europe therefore allowing it to say "Synthetic" on the bottle but it is NOT. MOBIL 1 is Synthetic in Europe but NOT here in the US. The best oil for these cars is LIQUI MOLY Leichtlauf High Tech SAE 5W-40. That's my 2 cents but oh well... its personal preference but also making an informed decision. You can also write to LUQUI MOLY from their site and they'll tell you what you should use in your car. I been using it for 10 yrs

I have a 2011 bmw 750li. I recently got my cv axle replaced and wheels aligned but did not get code reset. Now its giving me chasis stabilization warning in the middle of driving in result of not reseting the code i believe. How can i reset this? Any idea?

The drivetrain malfunction error is a Fail-Safe mode to protect the engine for any possible damage. The drivetrain malfunction error is caused for many different reasons but the common ones are: Malfunction with Spark plugs Ignition coils Injectors Air delivery Etc,.. If you have to want to Know why the check engine light and the drivetrain malfunction error comes on, you will need to check with a diagnostic tool to see the specific malfunction of your engine and repair it. Do you have a BMW scanner or a universal diagnostic tool?
