UNREAL! You're the best! my rear window didn't close yesterday and I was dying to close it because I have tools and many valuable stuff in the truck. I watched your video and ordered the switch from Amazon and I had it over night for free and it delivered 6:00AM! I pulled only the cable from the old switch and connected to the new one to be sure the problem is the switch and I was thrilled when the rear window closed! Oh man what a relief! I follow exactly your steps and I couldn't tell you how happy I'm and I really appreciate your video which save me a lot of money and of course the time and hassle to take it to the dealer! Thanks a MILLION and GOD bless!

I'm so glad I found this video about the switch being the usual issue when an F-150 sliding rear window stops working. You mentioning intermittent problems makes me think the switch is the culprit and that makes me happy. I had had nightmares thinking we'd have to take apart the window assembly or something. So - Just ordered the switch, and some LED map light bulbs as well, and will be following your excellent instructions to the letter. Thanks for doing such a great video!

Edforce One fire needs to recall a lot of parts on these years. Rear glass defroster, fuel canisters, blend door actuators. AUGH. Always the same parts. 10 years later, they don’t fix it. Fuel canister issue was worse safety wise. Stalled the truck. And there is no power in my arms to turn that wheel. Most expensive. The DATC blend door actuator on bottom of dash. Blew out DATC module as well. 1200$. t same time blowwr motor going bad. Sigh. Not spending 800$ on new glass for defrost. Where I live, this is minor. 😎.
