And this is the difference between a real mechanic and someone like me that tries to fix issues themselves.
The best part is we all know that guy who just shoves his test light into things it’s the same guy who has multiple kids from multiple women and says “I guess they’re just all really fertile”
if it has been to a Ford dealership lately... good chance it's unplugged or the wires ripped out! Just lile the alternator on my recent $12,500 engine replacement job.... first class work! They even asked if I wanted to pay extra for them to troubleshoot the alternator issue!! First class punks!
Unfortunately most mechanics these days only rely and the computer to tell them what's wrong they don't use their brain like you do. thanks for the video get some A/C in that shop!
FTM is more logical, precise and thorough than a computer.
I don't have anything nice to say about people who "try" to diagnose but then create more problems from bad practices like jamming a test light into something.
People do things themselves because the outrageous costs of any mechanical work at shops

I actually bought an complete A/c compressor Kit from a guy that sells everything compressor related parts and completely tore down the compressor and rebuilt with new seals and bearings. It was surprisingly easy to do. 9 years past and still running strong and cold.
