It’s 2022 & I still come back to this specific routine from Top Gun in 2008. Anyone else? Or am I all alone?

This was almost 10 years ago! And still the best routine in allstar Cheerleading history! #2017

12 years later and I still find myself singing to this entire routine. 16 year old me DREAMED of being on this team!😭

As a former competitive cheerleader, I like to watch routines from today, but honestly, I feel competitive cheerleading from 2005-2009 was so entertaining and creative. By far this routine created the standard of what competitive and entertaining cheerleading embodies!

That first tumbling pass into a split 0.0 WOAHH

I just love the bitchy tone of the music to the stunt sequence, I think it really helped along with how sharp their movements were: "You cant pretend, Miss thing I am the end Im here to serve within the battlezone I HAVE NO FRIENDS I fierce and imma show it and I must make you know it cuz when a star, hits the floor... *POSE *POSE its tens tens... (**DOUBLE) TENS STRAIGHT ACROSS THE BOARD"

the big difference is that in 2012 they had alot more girls on the team, then in 2008 where they had 12 girls and 24 guys. plus ive heard that this years top gun senior team had a lot of new people.

They don't have as many guys do the difficulty gets dumbed down a bit. If they had as many guys as they did in 08 this year than they'd either be this good or better.
