2008 Walt Disney World Christmas Day Parade | Regis Philbin | Kelly Ripa | Miley Cyrus | Seacrest
It’s Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa hosting and celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the Walt Disney World Christmas Day Parade. Miley Cyrus kicks off the festivities with Santa Clause is Coming to Town. Ryan Seacrest is at Disneyland with a look at Haunted Mansion Holiday and Small World Holiday. We look back at Regis Philbin’s involvement in 18 Walt Disney World Christmas Day Parades; and as it turned out, 2008 would be the last year we see Regis during the Christmas morning special.
Additional performances include Billy Ray Cyrus, the Jonas Brothers, Sarah Brightman, José Feliciano, David Cook, the Imagination Movers, and Corbin Bleu. The 25th Anniversary Parade also included clips from previous parades including Beyoncé (2006), Kermit the Frog (1989), Amy Grant, (1990) Nancy Kerrigan (1994), and Jodi Benson (1997), and a repeat of Vanessa Williams's 2005 performance.

I was 24 years old, still loving Walt Disney World Christmas Day Parade this is the 25th Anniversary and I love to see everything to make me feel Christmasy and I also love Miley Cyrus' performance. The white manicure nails look gorgeous on her to match with white jean pants when she holds the microphone 🎤 in the beginning of the parade. So do I & I was 24 years old at that time. This is 25th Anniversary of Walt Disney World Christmas Day Parade.
Regis Philbin theorized he would come next year with his then newborn son. However Regis ended up sadly not attending hosting the 2009 ceremony because he had to go to a hip surgery at his local hospital. :(
