I understand why people enjoy paddle shifting, it can be fun, but I just can’t truly enjoy a car if it’s not a manual transmission. It’s all I’ve ever owned so I just bore myself to death in auto or paddle cars

I LOVE my 08 Subie Legacy GT! It's fun to drive, has a great radio system in it, gets the looks (good and the "I wonder if I can take her? looks), it's not a gas hog and hugs the road like it's part of the road itself. My only complaint is that it's so low, I have trouble pulling into some spots and parking. Yeah, I've hit a curb or six and got the bumper stuck. Maybe someone lowered it at some point, but I do have to be careful where I go. Something not mentioned is that the sunroof pops up if you want airflow but no sun. In the center console there is also another aux power port and aux input. Maybe it was an option, but mine also has heated driver and passenger seats. The side mirrors also defrost when you hit the button to defrost the rear window. Another thing that is really nice is the dimming rearview mirror for when the guy behind you is blinding you with his lights. I would love to upgrade it with a touchscreen Bluetooth system to have Spotify / Pandora, GPS and handsfree calls. Maybe someday. Great review! Thanks.

For the front speakers, you have to get ones made for Subaru (at least years ago you did). They're slanted so reg speakers won't fit.

Get a nice JbLradio with flip out face and Sony speakers in the front and rear and tweeters for good sound 👌 you could always upgrade to a better amplifier For more base etc..

seagrade I ended up not getting it. It was a used dealership and in total with taxes(California) came to be $7990. I had $3000 in cash with me and a $3000 credit card limit, and I wanted to drop the price to $5900 but they declined so I left and said thank you.

Looking to get 2008 by 2.0 turbo. To me better than the wrx of the same year

the 05-06's stock stereo take RCA cords in the back, find an RCA to 1/8th inch ( headphone jack ) and plug it in the back of the stereo, then download " silent mp3 tracks " onto a CD. Play the silent CD, and plug in your phone to the headphone jack you plugged into your stock stereo. BAM. 3 dollar AUX jack.

Wrx is easy to make power? Negative ghosts rider. I love my sti but 600hp was definitely hard to achieve. My legacy 2.5gt is definitely a better daily.

600hp sure, but with an access port, intake, and exhaust you can make 300hp pretty easily which is more than most people are used to.

VF45 turbo only from JDM Legacy B4 GT spec B 07-09 I current own a MY07 with 6 speed, just got it a month ago...best car i've ever owned. Its definitely the last of the good 'old school' subaru cars...
