2008 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec-V Start Up, Exhaust, and In Depth Tour
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
In this video I give a full in depth tour of the 2008 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V. I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of this car while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicle itself. I also show the engine and the details of it, start it up and see how it sounds under acceleration. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.

I remember I got this car brand new in highschool (07) it was Soo fun to drive and I had a lot of good times, then in 13' I bought an altima. Another great Nissan experience...now I'm practically 30 and I bought a BMW 4 series coupe and I love my car now but when ever I see this generation Sentra on the road I always smile when I see it and remember all the memories, road trips, parties and blunt rides I had in it 🙂.

Excellent video, very informative.
Kyle, you rock! Great vid as always bud!
Good review & great Sentra.
I watch you every morning right before I go get drunk :)
The SE R Spec V is MUCH more fun to drive than the SR. I have a 2011 SR and used to have a '07 Spec V. I still miss the Spec V-especially the 6 speed manual trans, but my SR gets MUCH better gas and is easier to drive better in city..
gotta say the engine sounds badass! thanks for excellent videos saabkyle04!! -Cody
i always wanted to see this car fully reviewed!! :)
Fun little car to drive! I drove an SR model amazing handing these cars have
I own a 2010 SE-R...I love the design on this car
I have the 2012. Love it. Fun for me and a sleeper for everyone else. :)
Saabkyle04 great video. In fact your older video on a 96 lumina inspired my first car choice. Keep it up
THE FEW, THE PROUD, THE SPEC-V's
Auction vids are the best.
I have one of these in "super black" and I love it. Definitely a bit of a sleeper that surprises people at how quick it can be. Make sure you get it with the LSD and it will corner and launch (or both simultaneously) very nicely. Conti Extreme DWS tires are decent on it. I love everything but the shifter - it is very quick and a shortish throw but it can be balky especially approaching redline or 1st to 2nd... Downshifts very nicely though.
Olha o Ronco desse Sentra que top, imaculado !!!
i never knew that your videos were not hd when you upload them
i love this car with this color!! :)
i drove one of these back from the auction at fall branch. that thign is FUN to drive. was doing laps around hte other cars lol
Looks like a fun little thing, I would drive it. :D
About time! Try to find a 2002-2006 Spec V or the classic 91-94 SE-R.
This Sentra is pretty awesome. If I had time, I'd try to do a tour of my '02 Sentra SE-R.

i like this style of sentra it looks like mini version of the pervious altima :)
Best looking sentras ever
Yeah the 06 Sentra is really nice .. almost bought one but I had to put the seat all the way back just to fit, also the pedal positions are a little off. Still, great performance and looks really cool. I love my 08 though, wasn't sure about the style but it's grown on me :)
I got the 2010 sentra in the regular version but this ser is down my list now 😱 please be careful when you pushes the buttons and knobs 😅

I like the color contrast stitiching.
I love those red seat belts. And I think you forgot to mention that this car has the "SE-R Package" which comes with the LSD, upgraded Rockford sound system, and sunroof.
Best car in the universe to me
could you possibly do walkthrough of 1980's nissan pulsar? would love too see one of these.

John Weil good luck finding one. they are so rare
@Pioneers22014 its a auto-test feature to make sure that every gauge is working properly
I love these little cars. I think they look like a mini maxima so I dont see why people think these cars are ugly. If I had to buy a 4 cylinder sport compact this would be it. The civic si is nice but who don't have one?
@Vanuatoo The car must have been sitting for a while so lots of the gasses condensed in the piping/muffler.
I had a 2004 Spec V, and it handled very neutral. The one thing I didn't like was the plasticky, vague gear shifter. Solid pocket rocket for those on a budget. Honda Civic Si is a close rival.
lost my 2010 base model to a drunk driver yesterday, the SE R might be the moves now.

The horn on the sentra is the same exact horn form the 90s to 2012 till they replaced it with a cheap meep horn for 2013

I want to see this as Nissan New Compact Saloon in Thailand soon
If you remember the 05 Altima, I always considered this version of the Sentra to be the baby Altima. Anyone's thoughts on that one?
i like this little car, i've driven a 2.0 sl but i want to drive one of these. the seats look more comfy than in the sl model too. i think this ser spec v look better than the 02-06 model it replaced but thats me.
can u please do a nissan altima se-r with the 3.5 liter v6?
what a good car
This thing is a total sleeper, it's right about even with the current and new Si. And it has a really fat torque curve for a N/A 4 cyl.
Hey Kyle, can you do a review on the 2012 Nissan Versa and the 2012 Volkswagen Beetle?
thanks kyle
@benchod94 Nope incorrect. It shows forward and backward acceleration. Not lateral. Not really useful but makes for a fun trick to keeping passengers stuck in the seat attempting to read the sensor though.
great ```````
@Santiago Marti Garo you need an oil change or you need a timing chain. Take it to your dealer for an oil change. And they will do an inspection
From music to cars, Mercedes-Benz USA debuted a new television ad to mark the launch of its all-new C230 sports coupe. The television spot will run during programs including West Wing, Frasier, Friends, NYPD Blue, Good Morning America, Spin City and the Tonight Show. The spot will also air on national cable networks including VH1 and Comedy Central.
Is the music you listen to from the band The Outfield?
Hey Kyle, Could you do a Volvo 850 T-5R. 0 to 60 mph (97 km/h) in 5.7 seconds. I wanna see that. Btw loved the video!
@wotan20 there are numerous spec v's with the maxima engine in them
Hey Kyle. Was wondering if you were looking at any other cars to buy that you like, if you ever got rid of your Genesis.
the transmission on the 2007-present Nissan Sentra Transmission 6-speed manual CVT
I don't like how you recorded you speaking separately, it sounds weird haha, I know it's so we can hear you better but still, great review btw I've wanted one of these for awhile but just not enough to buy it haha
Sweet car.
Why in all newer cars the gauge needles always go around and back again?
I think this car should be more popular than it is. I love the red seatbelts and the red velvet in the storage compartment; they're definitely unique touches that are really cool in my opinion. I just wish those were stock touches. Nice car though still, just not enough character to compete with the Civic SI yet.
@perrythekiller it gets better as time goes on eventually, it takes time to fully process.
How hard would it be to drop a neo into this car?
How's the reliability on these? Gonna get me one
The last time I saw an SE-R of this gen was like...last year! Though I think it should have nismo coilovers from the factory with a lower ride height..
@tikibuddy25 It's called gauge sweeping. That's their way of letting you know that they are working properly.
0:50 I like that startup
why do some of the newer cars tachometer and speedometer needles go to max reading then back down on start up, like this car and the camaro and others??
I had a sentra 2.0s and I liked it up until it was time for transmission repairs. I had the 6 speed manual and it cost $3,000 to fix because every component went out at once. Other than that no complaints
@Josephalosaurus It's not gas, it's condensation from the exhaust being warmer than the outside air.
Love nissans :)
@Pioneers22014 Manufactures are adding a "greeting" to lesser cars nowadays. Just like how the Mazda 6 (which is a greeting I like). But it could also be for those of us who still let the ECU boot and the injectors prime (a way to use time while u wait).
why do people automatically (no pun intended lol) assume Kyle can't drive a stick? I've noticed that happening quite a few times lately.
why would the emergency brake be down wouldnt it be needed since its a stick?
@aspiringdrummer17 ha! maybe, because ive left my car in gear parked on a moderately steep hill and it held. but yeah, you really should use the handbrake, its a lot more secure
hi kyle i sow that at allcity auto there is a mercedes-benz E320 wagon can you do a video of it?
Fastest car alive!
I said this before but ill say it again. Thumbs up if you think kyle should mention tire specs for future vids! thanks guys ( :
sweat little car!! i want one!!!
@aspiringdrummer17 true, but it helps. especially if its on a level surface like in the video
My brother had a 2002 se-r spec v, but it was a lemon! went through 5 throttle body sensors, had to replace the computer, had to replace the engine, replaced the radiator, and other small things. Luckly he worked for at a nissan dealership and he had an extended warranty which covered most of his problems. He just thinks that his was a lemon due b/c he never had other people complain about the mass of problems w/ their sentras
@2004NissanSentra I drive a 2007 Spec, and I agree the styling isn't great. It does help to contribute to a sleeper status if you're going to modify it though. I think that they should have shaved off the roofline a bit and maybe lowered it some, because it just isn't sleek. It looks okay, but it looks very tall. And drives like it too.
This Car is Silver
@saabkyle04 can you do a srt8 300c cause i know u already did one but that one was in your small years.. No can u do one
Sentra's are a good drive.
The only thing I don't like about this car is how it looks. A 200HP engine in a car that looks like that? It just doesn't match...
