Man, this was a good time to be a tiger even though we lost this game. We were competing with Bama every year. We held on the miles for a little bit too long and let our recruiting take a hit. Miles stubbornness to hiring his friends caused the lsu downtick

Hell of a game.

Julio made it his personal business to beat the shit out of LSU. Such a joy to watch.

Other than Terrance Cody vs Tennessee in 09, I cant think of a more effective non offensive game from an Alabama player than Rashad Johnson in this game.

I miss this atmosphere of sec football especially with Bama! RTR

Watched this game live. Now watching it in 2023. What a time for us Bama fans then! We had no clue or expectation of the dynasty that would be formed. We would have been happy with winning 1 national championship, but Saban brought us 6! Hoping he can can get at least one more here before he retires. Roll Tide!

We had a literal brick wall this year although Jones got it out really quickly

I thought this was a highlight video. Who puts 20 punts in a highlight reel? 1 take away is the refereeing was much better in 2008 than it is today.

RedSkaal Because as a former quarterback, watching Lee in this game was difficult. Did you see where he was 2-11 in the second quarter with two picks, or how he needed 10 straight completions in the 3rd to have 50%? LSU wins this game with mere competency at quarterback.

so because their quarterback was bad and Alabama's was better, LSU should've won? makes sense.

I do NOT miss the era of holding my breath and crossing my fingers and toes every time our field goal kicker went out because they were so inconsistent. LOL Roll Tide!
