Finally someone shows me how to "pop" the bracket back in place. My mirror and assembly has been sitting in the glove compartment for months because I didn't know how to get it back on. I just fixed it. Thanks for this video.

Thanks for making everything so simple. I watched your video after 1 hour working in the rain trying to replace the mirror! Only took 4 minutes. What started out with me helping my girlfriends sons; ex girlfriend with a all wheel brake job, oil change and wiper replacement on her 2010 Suburban ended with me bumping the garage door jam and a cracked mirror. Thank you sweet Lou !!! some knucklehead hit my 2011 suburban LTZ. just bought mirror from dealer here in Houston and cost me $200. located exact mirror by my VIN # as mirror has auto dim side obstacle alert heated power etc. could not figure out ring removal. YOU made it easy, simply turn 4 catches with flahead screwdriver and pops out. Thank you. God bless you.

This was great vid!!!! Finally someone who shows how that mirror clips function, so to remove the mirror glass, is basically that you just "lift it" and it pops out :)

Very helpful, thanks. The mounting plate removal from the mirror glass was not obvious to me until you showed it. Then, I was able to easily disassemble and reassemble my damaged mirror and get it all to work without replacing any parts.

Hay just wanted to say thanks your videos help a lot i only made one change i put the clip on first on the Mirror then put. it in place it when on like a snap again thank for your videos

I kept pushing in the mirror thinking it was going to snap in (luckily didn't break another mirror) but I was missing the part you described here on first removing the inner circle part. Also, yea I went to the dealer and for my 07 Suburban LTZ they wanted $440 just for the mirror "Glass Only" (not the whole thing!) so I went to Amazon and picked one up with backing, turn signal and heater for $50. My mirror was stolen and couldn't figure why anyone would take the time to rip off just the mirror but at $440 glass only, I get it! Thanks for taking the time to show how you re-installed yours, it helped.

Thanks for your video. Yours was the best especially on the part about bracket- how it snaps in and out. It works for my Chrysler (t&c of 2002) too. BTW- i got mine replacement on amazon only for $10... :-) only a mirror it self. thx a lot!
