Just watched your video, some tips for you if you want them, we use a lot of Koch products, MZR is great but your using it way to strong, easy do that car at 1:20 - 1:30, also on the steering wheel, that dirt on the white cloth is dye transfer from the leather, the top is worn of the leather, use a milder cleaner, or get the wheel repaired. The leather repair company sell kits if you want to try it yourself.

Cheers for the tips and feedback. We have never used this product before, so going by Koch Chemies recommendation of a 1:5 ratio for a deep clean. Given this car 17 years old it needed a deep clean.

Awesome job, turned out great! FYI P&S Interior Cleaner doesn't have any UV protection. I recommend Koch Chemie Top Star as an interior UV protectant/dressing. Only mentioning this because I didn't see in the video that you put any interior protectant/dressing. Keep up the great work/vids. Cheers

Thanks for dropping a comment. We’ll be sure to add Top Star to the list of products we need to check out in the future.

Very nice job on that interior cleaning. I just did my interior yesterday and used a lot of these same methods including the steam and extractor. The one thing I did differently is use a soft drill brush for my agitation on carpets and fabrics. Worked really well. I thought my carpets were really clean. I usually keep them very well kept. After adding the drill brush, it brought stuff to the surface I had no idea was down there. The extractor water was BLACK! Another interior cleaner you MIGHT want to look at is also from Koch Chemie and it's called POL STAR! It would be the product you would use in place of the P&S Interior Cleaner. It is a fantastic product and I prefer it over the P&S Interior which was my normal interior product until Pol Star came along. Has a much nicer scent and foams just as good as P&S. It also slightly enrichens the interior plastics and trim after you finish your wipe down. As is P&S, it's good for any interior surface including carpets, fabrics, alcantara, plastics, leather, etc. I've used the new Gyeon Fabric Cleaner as well and POL STAR has them ALL beat. Scent is WAY better, and it works better. Skip the Gyeon Fabric Cleaner if you haven't gotten one already. It may work good, but it STINKS really bad like a strong chemical smell. Smells awful. I also PROTECTED every fabric surface in my vehicle with Auto Finesse CARAMICS interior coating kit. Worked SO very well. The thing I really loved about it. NO SCENT. NONE. Which is perfect because it doesn't take away from the clean smell you spent hours and hours trying to get with a deep clean. I highly recommend the Auto Finesse Interior Kit. Another Fabric Protectant that is really nice to work with is Malco EPIC Fabric protection. Also NO SCENT. I do like Gyeon Smart Fabric (and I have about a half a bottle left), but that stuff's smell will just about knock you out. It's crazy how chemically that stuff smells. Work great.....SMELLS AWFUL. Auto Finesse, Malco, and Dr. Beasley's Fabric Protectors have NO SCENT which is the best attribute about all three of them. Doesn't change the smell of your interior. I just like a really nice, clean, fresh, smelling, "like it came from the factory" smell in my car. I have all kinds of stuff going on inside my vehicle, I have two different types of Alcantara (Door Cards and Seat Inserts), Leather (Seat Bolsters and some trim), Plastics, Carpet, Carpeted Floor Mats of a different material of the bottom carpets, and a rear deck mat that is also a different type of carpet, all from the FACTORY! So I have to go through like six or seven different types of cleaning processes inside my vehicle when I do a thorough cleaning but it's worth it.

@@OmniGarage If you ever get the chance to get your hands on some, get a bottle to try out. I think you will be really impressed with it. Leaves a really nice matte finish after wiping it off. The smell is amazing and it supposedly has a little protection qualities built into it as well so you are protecting your interior surfaces while cleaning. Plus, it's good for everything inside including fabrics which is nice too. It's says it's good for leather as well which is probably true for cleaning the leather but I use a dedicated leather cleaner and conditioner. Would love to try some of the Swissvax products for leather but haven't gotten that one yet. I may try it after I run out of my Polishangel stuff. Thanks for posting these videos. Really enjoy your content.

Just picked up those exact WRX seats from the wreckers to put into my Forester and will be giving them the same detail. Thanks for the great demo and tips, just want I needed to have a go at the job and do it correctly especially being a secondhand set of seats with an unknown history.

Need to hold off on using so much water and product it may look better but it’s going to eventually be moldy or rotten pro tip use a terry towl and put the triangle attachment on the steamer and wait for it to heat up and then put it over it and just scrub it takes it so off easily

Can I use Koch Chemie Mehrzweckreiniger MZR Interior & Special Cleaner as an interior cleaner to my trims, middle console, door trims?

I haven’t used this product to clean the plastic trim. Only used it to clean the upholstery. It does say you can use it to clean trim but I would use a specific interior cleaner.

hi, can I use it to clean leather steering wheel too ? at what ratio ? its safe ? or should only use PO ? Thanks

We haven’t used it in this scenario, we’d typically clean a leather steering wheel with specific leather cleaner, unless we’re doing a “maintenance” clean using our generic interior cleaner.
